Our yoga classes provide movement for health and relaxation, but are also designed to promote greater self-awareness and inner peace. At The Yoga Place and Yoga Central we have a full spectrum of yoga programs to help improve strength, flexibility and posture but, even more importantly, yoga is a holistic and spiritual practice where we work on integration of mind, body and spirit.

We provide a safe haven where you are warmly welcome and where you can work on personal development or just relax and experience the joy of yoga. We want to help you help yourself. Don't limit your ideas about yoga. The joy of yoga shines brighter when we allow it to be many things. Yoga is balance, it is health, it is relaxation, it is transformation, it is the opening of new possibilities, it is community and much more.
Services
For those who want to be introduced to yoga gradually, in a systematic way. Beginner's yoga offers a comfortable step-by-step breakdown of proper alignment in popular postures, general mechanics of our anatomy, foundational breathing practices and some basics for developing a more harmonious lifestyle.
The best way to start yoga is with an experienced professional. At The Yoga Place & Yoga Central we have been introducing people to yoga for over 19 years and know the importance of progressing slowly, methodically, gently and with a lot of helpful professional guidance.

We aim for an intelligent practice that is sustainable over the long term, for example, what yoga you do today should help you feel better tomorrow, otherwise something needs adjusting!Make your concerns known to us. We want to help you feel comfortable and welcome. Please come about 10 or 15 minutes early to your first class so the teacher will have time to get you all set up.
Offer is only good for a NEW STUDENT (defined as a student who has never attended a yoga class at The Yoga Place). Student may attend an unlimited amount of Yoga Classes for 10 or 28 consecutive days. Click "Ongoing Classes" tab for times and levels. Cannot be combined with any other offer. It is a 12-month course with a staff of 7 people. This training is a way not only to deepen our knowledge of yoga and develop as teachers, but to explore our own inner worlds and to work on ourselves. Rhonda Kuster (E-RYT500) has a deep passion for, and dedication to, the art of yoga. She began her yoga journey in 1997 and continues to study with many of the finest yoga teachers in the country.
Please contact us to discuss your interest in yoga teacher training. We would like to help you prepare to join in January. The staff at Yoga Central is offering the 300-hour yoga teacher training program as a way for serious teachers to be skillfully guided deeper into the rich subject of yoga.

More comprehensive, informative, detailed, and personalized than the basic 200-hour training, it offers a path for incorporating the physical, psychological, and spiritual aspects of yoga into modern life, while deepening the sacred connection.The 300-hour program is flexible enough that the student can delve deeper into desired areas of interest whether yoga philosophy, anatomy, pranayama, sequencing, meditation, or more.

I love the instructor (Todd), the convenience of the time of the class and the location. I also love Mike's 9am Monday class - He is the best! And the new location is awesome.

One of the best part of my day is a class at the yoga place. Not only provides a good workout but a better outlook on life. They offer more than just yoga too. They have involved the whole community with movie nights, concerts, weekend workshops and so much more. If you haven't already, GO! You will not be disappointed!
