Services
They achieve this by either reducing the amount of fluid produced within the eye or increasing the amount of fluid drained from the eye. There are four traditional classes of glaucoma medications: beta-blocker, alpha agonists, carbonic anhydrase inhibitors, and prostaglandins. These classes are available as single eye drops or as combination eye drops that combine multiple classes.
One of the strengths of our practice is the broad array of glaucoma surgeries we offer our patients. We are proud to be the only practice in Arizona that can offer such a broad array of surgeries to our patients. We cater our surgical choices to each patient's particular situation to ensure the best outcome possible.
Intraocular Pressure: The eye, like any fluid-filled compartment, has an internal pressure which can be measured. Pupils: the colored part of your eye moves dynamically like the aperture blades of a camera lens. The way your pupils open and close in response to light and visual targets gives insights into the health of your eye and visual pathway.
A cataract is a clouding of the natural lens of your eye. The lens works like the lens of a camera, or telescope, by adjusting as needed to help you see things up close or far away. With age, the lens loses its ability to focus up close, which is why some patients need reading glasses. The lens is made of water and protein, arranged in a way the lets light pass through unobstructed.
Successful cataract surgery starts in the clinic with a comprehensive eye examination and measurements of your eye's shape, length, and curvature. These values help determine the power of the intraocular lens (IOL) implant that will be placed into your eye at the time of cataract surgery. After you arrive at the surgery center, you will be admitted to the preoperative suite.

The staff and doctors are very professional. Techs are very knowledgeable and can answer almost any question. Staff is very personable. I never had a problem with wait time. Dr. Reiss just performed my cataract surgery yesterday on my left eye and did my right eye about 2 and half weeks ago. Although, I was very nervous, the entire procedure itself took about 10 minettes tops. The prep before the surgery took longer. All in all, it was painless. I would recommend the surgery to anyone that might be afraid. I was a contact lens wearer for 30+ years and now I don't need them or glasses. Just

When I was a regular patient a few years ago they managed my severe eye problems very well and I always felt like the people there cared about their patients and wanted to improve their eye health with every visit. I had several years without issue, but recently have developed an issue again. Due to not having been seen there in some time they will not see me as a patient without a referral from another eye doctor. I have had major eye disorders that led me to them in the first place with them performing several procedures over the years to help correct. Most eye doctors will not be able to
