Happy holidays and we wish you the best during the holiday season. I apologize for disturbing your stay at this property. I am now 60 years old and managing our clients' properties personally with care and we have learned from our past mistakes. If you find it in your heart to let go of this complaint, I truly appreciate it. Life teaches us to grow and my intention was never to disturb your lives. kind regards Afi

I have rented, bought and sold property with Afi. Equal parts sweet and smart, she's more than agent, she's a partner.
Renting, she showed me a property not yet not the market. I took it.
Buying, Afi found me a the perfect home, that oddly was not listed on most websites. I bought it.
Selling that same property a year later (because of a work transfer) Afi counselled me to wait 6 weeks. It's that level of detail and finesse that makes all the difference. I made an extraordinary profit.
I'm confident there is no better agent in the SOMA/Mission Bay area.

My boyfriend and I moved from New York to San Francisco and worked with Malin from AFI to view a property in SOMA. He was extremely flexible, responsive, and great to work with! We were able to lock down our apartment in just a couple of days and moved immediately.

I have worked with Afi on a few different deals. Most recently on a purchase, where there were many bids. Even though ours was not cash and may not have been the best, because she is trusted in the industry, the sales agent knew that there would be no issues and the seller ended up choosing us. A fantastic experience!
One of the reasons I keep coming back is her honesty and the fact that she cares about sustaining a relationship. I've worked with other realtors in the past, some good and some not-so-much. She spent a good amount of time helping us a few years back during the credit crisis

Afi was representing a property that we were interested in renting in SOMA. After an open showing and a private showing to double check all the details before we signed on the dotted line, we gave her a check for $5,000 and she told us we would have the paper work done by Monday. Monday, nothing. Tuesday, nothing.
A week after she tells me, after not returning any of our phone calls, emails, or skywriting, that she has rented the unit out to someone else. On top of that she said it would take her a week to get our security deposit back.

If I could leave only one star, I would. But since I can't, this one little star goes to Samantha who was a great help despite her other coworkers.
Afi, in particular, is horrible to work with. Given my experience, she was extremely rude and condescending--ALL THE TIME. I would suggest that you save yourself the headache and work with someone who appreciates your business and values you as a client. Afi won't.

I think Afi and her associates (I worked most closely with Samantha) are great! My boyfriend and I were looking to move into SOMA/South Beach, and weren't sure if we wanted to buy or rent. Afi has great knowledge on both the pros and cons of buying and renting in the city, and she really made us feel that she was looking out for our best interest.

Afi showed me well over a dozen apartments over the course of two days and was very enjoyable to work with. After we found the apartment we wanted to buy, Afi and her Associates went well beyond the scope of their responsibilities as brokers and continued to be of assistance well after the deal closed. Afi has a great understanding of the real estate market in San Francisco and, in particular, the SOMA area. She helped us negotiate with the seller to get a very good price. Thanks Afi!
