I am a solo practitioner with twenty-four years of experience. My practice focuses on family law (divorce, custody, modifications, child support), adoptions of all types, and guardianships. I was born and raised in Michigan. I graduated from Michigan State University with a degree in accounting.
My first job, beginning when I was a senior in high school, and continuing while earning my undergraduate degree, was as an endodontic (root canal) assistant.That experience taught me how to best care for people in stressful situations, which I draw on for my clients today. I graduated from Willamette Law school with my J.D degree in 1985; my first employment post-law school was as a tax attorney with a multinational accounting firm.
