Associated Eyecare welcomes children of all ages promoting a lifetime of healthy vision. Our doctors and the American Optometric Association recommend an eye exam at ages 1, 3, 5, then as deemed appropriate by the eye doctor. As part of the InfantSEE program our optometrists offer a FREE comprehensive exam to all children ages 6-12 months.
Our doctors are professionals in fitting the latest in contact lens technology. We carry all the popular contact lenses including disposable, bifocal/multifocal, toric, kerataconic, and cosmetic lenses. Whether you require a standard daily wear lens or a complicated medical custom lens, we work hard to find the best vision correction option for you.
Glaucoma is often referred to as the "sneak thief of sight" because in the vast majority of cases vision is lost to glaucoma with no pain, discomfort or noticeable change in vision. With more than 2 dozen distinct types of glaucoma, each with its own subtle presentation, a comprehensive eye exam is needed to detect this condition in its early, very treatable stages.
Cataract surgery has long been among the safest and most effective surgical procedures of any kind. Now, with the development of intraocular lenses which allow both near and distance vision with much less dependency on glasses, we can offer selected patients this exciting advance over standard "distance-only" lens implants.
The retina is the light sensitive layer of tissue that lines the inside of your eye. It is composed of nerve fibers that are responsible for transmitting nerve impulses to the Optic Nerve, so that they can be converted to visual messages in the brain. Under normal circumstances, the retina is attached to underlying tissue so that it "lines" the inner surface of the eye.

My husband and I are new to the area (5 years now) and have see Dr. Kirn, who is very attentive as his support staff. Very very efficient and professional in every way. We returned today for eyeglasses because we made the mistake last time to order them online, an experience I wouldn't recommend for old eyes. The women we dealt with today were phenomenally good. Great "bedside" manner, and Talented in helping us think through both aesthetics and practical issues pertaining to our eye-wear. not cheap, but I suspect we will be pleased when they arrive.

She said their is no corporate and that they are privately owned so I assume she owns the place. She stated the doctors there are only employees of associates eye care she doesn’t work for them.
