Conscious Core Pilates
Welcome to Conscious Core Pilates, a boutique Pilates studio in Livermore, CA, specializing in Prenatal and Postnatal Pilates and Diastasis Recti safe exercise and recovery. We currently offer virtual privates sessions, duets, and group classes. We work with you on your unique fitness goals and physical needs, addressing you and your body individually.

Pilates gives me confidence in my body and what it can do, often surprising myself! It has helped my lower back pain a lot by strengthening the muscles that support my back. Pilates also will help strengthen and close a bit of my abdominals that have a deep gap from pregnancy. I feel relaxed, sleep better and get an emotional lift from my sessions as well!

Hi I'm Caitlin Hatzenbuhler, owner of Conscious Core Pilates and your instructor. I began Pilates after experiencing debilitating headaches and pursued an alternative treatment to the medication that came with a long list of side effects. After 2 weeks of regular sessions, the headaches went away and never came back.
At Conscious Core Pilates we offer many options to fit your experience level and wellness goals. All of our classes and sessions are mixed equipment leveraging top of the line equipment from Balanced Body including studio reformers, towers, EXO chairs, Pilates arcs, mats and a ladder barrel as well as a range of props to assist or provide an additional challenge to your workout experience.

Had my intro 1:1 with the owner Caitlyn tonight. It was not only informative, but also a small workout that... I could feel just the smallest adjustments! Excited for my classes and continuing on with the new path to getting strong.

Finding out that I had the very common Diastasis Recti (split abs) after having my second child was worrisome as I know it can lead to a hernia. It had also been the cause of all my back pain and the tummy pooch that I couldn’t get rid of even after dropping weight. My Dr recommended Pilates to help support my body and rebuild abdominal muscles. I started seeing Caitlin 6 weeks after I had my second child. I wanted to try Pilates as a way to develop my core in hopes it would help my back aching. Over the last few months she has been AMAZING at focusing on my specific needs and dedicating each session to what I want to work on. Plus I can bring my baby with me and she holds and mothers her just like her own. Caitlin made handouts and homework specifically for me so that I can do daily exercises. I love how much she cares about me and my progress!

As a 37 year old man in law enforcement I was less than enthusiastic about trying Pilates. Physical fitness has always been weights and/or cardio. However I have been experiencing increasing amounts of lower back pain that traditional exercise only made worse. Caitlin, my wife, encouraged me to give Pilates a try and thankfully I did. After… completing my first 3-4 sessions over a couple weeks my back pain was reduced by at least 50%. I have since completed approximately 30 sessions from February to September and my back pain is completely gone! What is more is the pain doesn’t return
