I started with a biology degree from the University of Kentucky (Go Cats!) then graduated from Auburn University with my veterinary degree in 1997. I took over Cherokee Animal Hospital in 2006 and have been very busy ever since! I am married to a very patient man, have two wonderful children and a house full of animals.
Our previous clinic was a 70-year-old house, and it limited what we were able to do in terms of providing care. Our new facility allows our veterinarians to o er premium animal care in a safer, more efficient, and more comfortable setting. Our lobby is clean, cozy, and colorful, and is a welcoming place for animals and humans alike.
Many owners are looking for alternative methods for treating themselves and want the same options for their pets. Alternative therapies are options beyond the traditional medications. Sometimes we are already using all the medications we have available for certain problems but still need additional help.
The biggest difference between herbals or other supplements and traditional medications is that supplements and herbals are often gentler and come with fewer side effects. On the flipside, their effects are more subtle and may take longer to perceive. However, this doesn't make them any less valuable.

I can't tell you how happy I am with Cherokee animal hospital the doctor was kind compassionate I couldn't ask for any better my little puppy Daisy was very sick and unfortunately she had problems that we could not fix. I had to put her to sleep but I will say this the doctors the nurses they really cared it was not just that hurry up and get it over with thing. I can't tell you how considerate and how much I appreciate them being kind to me in my time of grief. I highly recommend them they're the best that I've ever seen. You need a good vet they're the best. Enough said..

What a blessing Cherokee Animal Hospital has been to our family. I’ve had the pleasure of bringing both of our dogs to this hospital, however my experience yesterday made me a lifelong fan. No one wants to hear their #1 sidekick is sick, but this hospital makes sure your animal is in good hands. Every employee takes time to explain, love, and care for your animal. Dr. Jenkins and Dr. Bryant - thank you for everything. You treated Pinson like your own and I’m forever grateful.

I've had several dogs over the course of my life - all of them finding and holding a place in my heart. One such friend was Farrah. She was ridiculously sweet and the perfect 55 lb. lapdog. She was an integral part of our life. Unfortunately, we recently had to say goodbye to her. However, this review is not entirely an ode to a wonderful friend, but to a staff that seems to legitimately care for and understand the powerful bond between human and pet. After Farrah's passing, we received a card filled with handwritten condolences. I've never seen anything like this from a veterinarian service before

I've been a pet owner of multiple rescue dogs through the years. All of them required extensive medical diagnosis and treatment. We've been to many different vets and have found some good and some not. Dr. Bryant and her entire team are a blessing to our pets and to my wife and me. They are simply the best in class in every way. Very grounded and committed to their patients and owners.

Love everyone at Cherokee Animal Hospital. They are kind and very caring to our dog Chance. He has a lot of anxiety about the vet and has to be medicated before his visits and even though we still have a hard time getting his nails trimmed they are always willing to try first without sedation. We have also used them for boarding and they take very good care of him and call to let me know how he’s doing. Thanks for taking care of my sweet boy!

The staff here has been amazing! We moved to Canton, GA, in 6/19 & needed to find a vet for my 3 senior citizens. I heard great things about them from our cat sitter so when my youngest got sick & started throwing up this winter I called. They were full up with appointments, but put me in for an emergency appointment. Same thing with today, 6/19/20... My youngest started having issues in her litter box so I called & they got her in on an emergency appointment.
The staff is great, very friendly & kind to both the animals & their fur parents. They give options for treatment.
