Unlike a crown which covers the entire tooth, a veneer is a thin covering that is placed over the front(visible) part of the tooth. Veneers are a popular treatment option for several reasons. Please stay away from this dentist. I had went to her for a crown and I provided my insurance and they stated that estimate pay is $900 and change so I paid that. I left to go out of town for work for 2 1/2 months, and I let them know that which I didn't have to, but it came up in conversation. I returned back from out of town for one week, And I received all of my mail, I seen a statement from Katie Orr dentist, and it was for 1200,00, as soon as I seen it I called and left a vm to see what was going on because my insurance said they pay more then that.. I received a call back maybe 2-3

THE GOOD REVIEWS ARE FAKE. I was looking for a dentist for my husband and I as well as a pediatrician dentist and I wanted to support a small business. Absolutely terrible . she lied she is not a pediatrician dentist. She did absolutely nothing with my two year old for her appointment. Just told me what foods cause cavities and I’m already aware. Let’s start at the beginning- I was a patient of Dr. Katie’s when she first opened her practice. The filling I got back then ended up having decay underneath and I chose to have it extracted because I’m not a fan or root canals/crowns.
That was like 15+ years ago so when she reached out to me about coming back I figured she had gotten many more years of experience since then, so I agreed to go. She also has the bubbliest personality and is really charming & funny.

I was a patient of Dr. Katie for over five years. During that time she did a lot of work on my teeth. This included fillings, a crown, and some cosmetic work on a broken tooth. While she is very kind and personable, I am certain that her plan of care for me was very aggressive and not necessary.
My last visit with Dr. Katie she told me I had three cavities that need filled on two different teeth. Realizing that she was not in my new dental insurance network I opted to find another dentist to keep my cost down. I’ve been with my new dentist for three years and every check up he says my teeth

I woke this morning with a serious medical emergency. Being late December I knew most dental offices would be booked before the holidays. I am beyond grateful to Dr Katie Orr and her support staff for fitting me in on a day they were already swamped. Jessica was the first to greet me in the office. She explained what CDC precautions the office was taking for Covid and explained all paperwork clearly. Both Mandy and Dr Katie we’re gentle while examining my mouth. I had the BEST experience with Dr. Katie. Starting from the woman who answered the phone to the results of the Zoom whitening. It was all amazing. It was so easy to make an appointment as they always answer the phone. Upon my arriving, the receptionist was so friendly and informative on what to expect from my procedure. I am head over heals in love with Dr. Katie and her entire staff and office. I was very hit or miss with dental care my entire adult life and never really felt any drive towards being consistent with my dental care. Not only are Dr. Katie, Marcy the Hygienist and Jes at the desk all highly skilled in their roles, they are enthusiastic and energetic and make the date circled on the calendar something to look forward to, not dread. Dr. Katie has been my dentist for years. She is very personable and extremely experienced. She always has a smile on her face which puts me at easy. Her staff is friendly and efficient. My kids love seeing her and always are sad if I have to go without them. Her office is modern and has all the most current equipment. I am so glad I found Dr. Katie Orr. She is friendly, attentive, and listens well. You can tell she really cares about you and your health because she listens to what you have to say. I asked her to remove a filling of mine due to some adverse symptoms I had been experiencing, and I think many other dentists would have dismissed my story/symptoms and not done what I asked. I appreciate the time and attention I received from her. The entire staff is extremely friendly, as well. I also found the cost to be very reasonable, which is just a plus. I would recommend her to anyone.

We love Dr. Katie!! I found her a few years ago after moving to the area, and I have had nothing but great experiences every visit! My husband had not been to a dentist in years and he was very anxious about going. Dr. Katie won him over and now he cares so much more about his dental hygiene! Can I give more stars?! From the beginning, Dr. Orr and her team made me feel at home. Dr Katie gave me a tour of the office and was genuinely interested in getting to know me and what I wanted from this experience. I wasn't used to that at all! I've already recommended people to go to her after one visit. Just recently, I had my first filling with her and she was gentle and made sure I was comfortable the whole time. I have a fear of dentists but I definitely left Dr. Orr's office feeling less anxious! Highly recommended!!!

Dr. Katie is wonderful and so is her staff. I had a couple of fillings recently and that went very smoothly. She is also great with the kids! She has such a sweet personality and really takes the time to talk and see how everyone is doing.
Also, we recently went through a change in dental insurance and her office was great about it. We had Cobra for a few months, and it was all quite confusing. The front desk was very helpful through this process, and I really appreciated it. Changing insurance can be a big hassle, and her office was a huge help!

Really disappointed in the lack of care here. Greedy for money. I've never paid more for x-rays at any other office. Not sure if they were all necessary, as I'd be advised to get them almost every time I went in for a cleaning. Also, cancellation fees are horrible. Even if you're sick. Apparently they'd rather risk their whole staff getting sick and operate in your mouth when you're contagious than waive a reschedule fee. In spite of these issues, I'd stayed here for a few years because the service was in general very good. However, lately things are clearly falling

Possibly one of the worst dental experiences I've had, and I spent 6 years with the US Navy so I know mediocre dentists. I was not numbed for a filling hardly at all and my daughter spent an hour screaming and crying in her chair. She will also schedule you 6 months in advance and call you the day before your appointment and if you can't keep the appointment, you will have to pay a $50 cancelation fee because they require TWO days notice so I would through "shady business practices" up with this individual. I am looking to report this actually so if you know who I have to do

Dr.Katie is awesome! I was nervous about going to a dentist like most people but she talked me threw everything and made sure I was comfortable. I didn't have a wait time like other offices I have been to. Her staff was great and I didn't have to wait, they made my visit very easy. She even remembered me talking about my family and asked me about it the next time I was in. I would recommend her to anyone who's looking for a dentist!

She seems nice enough but in reality she is more of a salesman than a dentist. This place is a money factory. She talked me into several procedures that were unwarranted (verified by a 2nd opinion) and then billed me to almost the max of my yearly insurance allotment.
I also had an issue with a previous chipped tooth on a Friday evening and found out that there is no way to get in touch with her during off hours. She had previously given me her "personal email" with the promise to use it any time should I need anything. It went unanswered until the following Monday. Her office voicemail

Ok I must start this review by saying I was very skeptical before coming here. I had been burned pretty badly by another dentist in town that demanded I be charged a pretty penny for a teeth cleaning that was covered under my insurance!
With that said, I met Dr. Katie during a business meeting and her lovable and warm demeanor won me over so I bit the bullet and set an appointment.
When I arrived, I was greeted by their front office gal, Jami. She does just about everything around the office and really helped me feel calm. They took me back and I immediately felt at ease. They were informative

I was looking for a new dentist and was referred to Dr. Katie from a friend. Since it was my first visit, I was greeted by Dr. Katie and she took me on a tour of her new building which is quite nice. I met he staff which seemed quite friendly. I needed a root canal, and was told in detail as to what would happen. The procedure itself was quite painless. I could have been put on gas, but decided not to. No problems.
Upon going back to her office to get the permanent tooth put on, I was in and out within 5 minutes, which was great since I scheduled the appt during my lunch break.

Soo, I had a great experience initially, but a few red flags have since reared their heads. Last time I had a cleaning they suggested I have two, since it had been a bit of time since I'd had one. I asked a dentist friend and he confirmed my suspicion--having two cleanings in a row really isn't very useful.
But the biggest thing to burn me up is their late fee. If you do not cancel an appointment with 24 hour notice, you can get a fine upward of $25. I had to cancel the morning of my appointment because I had a glitch in my insurance, so I called four hours ahead and had to put a hold
