In 1990, Between Rounds had its start in Vernon, Connecticut when The Bagel Stop opened. This first store, owned by Jerry Puiia, was patterned on a store that Jerry's dad (Vito) and his brother (Joe) owned in Hoboken, New Jersey. One year later, Jerry and his brother opened a second Bagel Stop in South Windsor, Connecticut.
Our famously fresh breakfast sandwich served on your choice of a fresh natural round bagel, hard roll or, for an extra charge, a buttery croissant wrapped just right for eating. Choose one of our oven-fresh bagels with a heaping mound of our own plain or flavored cream cheese. We slice your bagel, add your favorite spread, and wrap it up for easy eating.

Delivery is available, corporate accounts are available, and all major credit cards are accepted. I went there for the first time. The staff was not very nice. I ordered a iced chai tea that didn’t have any ice in it. There was barely any chai tea in it and when we asked for more we received an attitude. Then they proceeded to go into the back and say how we were complaining about everything. If you want to talk about customers maybe next time do it more quietly. Better chai at Dunkin’

This place is single handedly the worst coffee shop I have ever been to. The staff was super rude and the lady who helped us struggled to find the food on her system for about 5 minutes. The food was very disappointing as the bagel was cold even though she put it in the toaster. I’m assuming she left it out. The chai had no chai mix in it. And even then it looked like a shot of espresso. The chai mix itself tasted bad and the “iced chai” had no ice in it. The milk they had you do yourself. Which I don’t care about but it was warm and had a very discusting taste. Won’t be back. Ever.

Very overpriced. The value isn't there.
You can get a stuffed, 12inch sandwich, from various local mom and pop pizza places for a few bucks less than Between Rounds, that taste just as good.
Look, the sandwiches are good, and aside from the slow service at this location, it's good stuff. But the price!! You can get just as good -- and more of it -- elsewhere.

Place is great, but would you guys mind asking if people want their sandwich or bagel cut, please.
Personally I LOVE my sandwiches or bagel whole.
If you guys do come and stop in this shop, ask for the everything bagel toasted. I do not know why , but it taste SO GOOD! Better than Dunkin, better than Price Choppers Homemade.

I had to drop my rating down because I asked not to slice my BLT w/egg and they sliced it anyway, I kept fumbling with my sandwich too keep it together. So with this being said, the ONLY thing favorable was the bag of Lays Chips. I also asked for

The bagels are awesome. I've been there twice. The first time I went inside to order and the staff was awesome. I didn't know what to order, but they were patient and recommended a few items. The second time I ordered from the drive thru. Not so great, because the young lady was rude. She also repeated my order twice and still managed to forget a sandwich. The first impression was good so I that's the reason for the 4 stars.
