Meet the Veterinarians & Team of Town & Country Veterinary Hospital in Pleasanton, CA! We're pleased to provide exceptional vet care for your pets! She earned a B.S in Biochemistry, a M.S. in Animal Physiology, and a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine (D.V.M.) degree at the University of California at Davis.
At Town & Country Veterinary Hospital we understand the importance and value of giving back to the community that supports us. We work with local law enforcement, high school ROP students, community college veterinary technician programs, groups serving pets of the homeless, and rescue organizations.
Town & Country Veterinary Hospital and the Pleasanton Pet Hotel have been proudly providing medical and boarding care to several K-9 Units throughout the California Bay Area since 2000. We are honored to serve the needs of these K-9 Officers who work to keep the public and their police officers safe.
We often hear kids say that they would love to work at Town & Country Veterinary Hospital, but how can your son or daughter determine whether this is their true career path before they head off to technical school or college? The answer is the Tri-Valley Regional Occupational Program (ROP) available through local area high schools.

New to the area we got a referral to T&C Vet. Kirbee and I were very pleased with the attention we received on our first visit. We got in right away, had a very thorough history intake, and the Dr listened to our concerns. 15 yr old Kirbee enjoyed his homemade pupsicle while getting his acupuncture treatment. We will definitely be back.

Hands down THE BEST pet hotel/boarding facility we ever used. Our pet required urgent relocation from another facility that was having issues providing appropriate care while we were still on vacation. Even though we have never met the staff when that happened, everyone we interacted with over the phone was compassionate, communicated clearly and promptly, and most importantly provided fantastic care of our dog. And finally our hearts MELTED once we received her "report card" at the end of her stay. Simply amazing place

This review is on behalf of my family member regarding the front staff. Every time there was a prescription or invoice they spelled the dog’s name incorrectly. There is a computer system. Some of the spellings were so incorrect that it gives the impression they are doing it on purpose. My family member will not be going back again. The veterinarian needs to hire more professional staff members.

I'm really happy with the quality of care received today for my 5 year old border collie mix Piper. Doctor Dossey was super clear on treatment options for my pups dry skin and everyone was super friendly. Piper came out very happy and back at home was super excited to find a new toy in her welcome bag! I highly recommend this practice, and I think Piper does too!

I've always felt comfortable and confident taking Karl to TC for his needs. The staff are personable, professional and compassionate about caring for their "patients"; the doctors are as well and provide excellent care; during the covid restrictions they've made it easy to continue service and keep everyone safe. I would not hesitate recommending TC to anyone looking for great care and service for their pet.

The entire staff at Town & Country is amazing. We came here from a different vet and are so happy that we did. Dr. Gardner is so knowledgeable about our breed and made us feel at ease right away. All of the techs are friendly and our pup gets so excited to see them We highly recommend taking your pup or cat to the wonderful folks at Town and Country!
