ElectroScooterWorks specializes in light electric vehicle repair, warranty work and service for recreational electric powered bicycles, scooters and ride-on toys. We are an authorized repair center for Raleigh and iZip bikes, Fisher-Price Power Wheels, Dynacraft, Razor scooters and dirt bikes and eZip scooters. We also install electric bike conversion components.
Services
We just moved to our new location in the industrial area of Beltsville, Maryland. The new shop is more convenient for our customers with improved parking and convenient drop off and pickups. We have been in the electric vehicle business for over 12 years starting out by converting gas powered cars to electric.
At ElectroScooterWorks we offer an array of services to get your electric vehicle back on the road and keep it running. Bring your vehicle in for our Maintenance Check. Over time many scooters develop loose bolts and connections and chains may stretch. We will test ride the scooter and check and adjust brakes, tire pressure, adjust chain tension, check and tighten electrical connections and check the batteries.
We are an authorized service center for popular brands of scooters and electric bikes and provide warranty work for the following products. The Mattle Fisher-Price Power Wheels have a one-year warranty from date of manufacture or date of purchase. Please provide a copy of the receipt of the vehicle for the warranty.
In addition to electric bike repair we install popular E-Bike conversion components from Bionx, Crystallite, Grin Technologies, Luna Cycles and Currie Technologies. Our first conversions were Brompton folding bikes with Bionx components. The Schwinn Spoiler (above) features a QS 2000 watt hubmotor and 60 volt lithium battery pack.
Our 20 years of electric vehicle experience is an added benefit towards the work we do for our customers. We drive daily the vehicles we build. ElectroScooterWorks started out as a hobby building and racing electric vehicles. Here are some of the personal EV projects we've created and tinkered with over the years incluing our 72-volt electric jr dragster and electric Porsche 914.

Even from his humble home in laurel, his superb quality and professionalism did not wain. I had my Dualton victor rebuilt after a terrible crash and he accepted it as a challenge. After a few weeks, the scooter looked good as new. You will not be disappointed with chips work. The fact that he accepted a frustrating job and not only repaired it but repaired it well warrants my review.

I came to electro scooter works expecting professionalism and for them to fix both my scooters. When I met him in person today, he was unwilling to provide ANY estamated invoices for the repair or ANY receipts of him receiving both my VERY expensive scooters. His business is built on trust and not professionalism. I find that very shady, especially when there is no accountability for anything he does with my scooters. How is he an "authorized" fluid free repair representative for the dc area? HE WOULD NOT PROVIDE ME ANY PAPERWORK AND SENT ME A NASTY TXT AFTER I WOULDNT WORK WITH HIM! STAY FAR AWAY

I was very please with the service. It was difficult to find a razor repair place near me. I drove from Reisterstown Md and was able to sit and wait until everything was completed. Went in to have the batteries replaced on my son’s MX650 and ended needing a rear tire also. He also adjusted my chain and brakes for free. Highly recommended
