Craving for Indian Dinner. We looked up Pakwaan Indian Cuisine. We were very excited as we saw a nice place with aroma of Indian Spices around. We ordered Chicken Malai Kabab which simply melted in our mouth. The tandoori Chicken was delicious. Don't forget Butter Chicken which comes with side of rice and Saag Paneer which had a hint of spice which also comes with side of Rice. All food had fragrance of fresh herb and spices. The garlic Naan was too good to add to our curries. There was right amount of oil and butter to all meal the Chef shared with us that he worked as Chef at 5star restaurant

Pakwaan I dian Cuisine has become our go-to restaurant on weekends for dine-in or delivery. We gave this local family-owned restaurant a try soon after moving to our new neighborhood and were very pleased with the quality, price, and especially flavors. After placing a dozen or so online orders we tried dining-in. Keeping an open mind and no expectations once again we were very pleased with how kind, patient, and attentive our service was on a Saturday evening. Avoiding having the same meal repeatedly at this point we've tried so many different entrees and appetizers and each one was up to

Great service pretty good food. The lunch buffet is currently only on weekends 15 dollars per person and from 12-3 pm. For a buffet I thought it was decent all food was mild.

There was a raw salad, chutneys, naan, pakora (very dry not good), butter chicken (the best thing there), tandoori chicken (very standard but good), fish korma (good), rice- standard, mushroom mattar (good), dal (ok), palak paneer (average/good), aloo tikka (below average lacked flavor), and vegetable jalfrezi (never had before but didn't care for) and Kheer (which I've liked better than some but I prefer the noodle

Delicious food. And great service. Even they covid we did takeout a few times and the food never disappointed us. Even with extra large orders we usually received extra dishes. Love this place.

Always a great dining experience for both buffet and takeout. Love to get my food a little spicier with the fresh garlic naan.

Chesterfield folks, check out Pakwwaan if you don't want to drive to Short Pump. Great food and service. The mango chicken was incredible!

Not the best pic but it's definitely worth trying.

I don't usually leave one star reviews but this place deserves no stars if I could leave less. I got the tandoori paneer and paneer pakora to go. The paneer pakora was rubbery and tasteless. The tandoori paneer came with no sides and a ton of onions. The naan bread is an extra $5.99 for one piece. The chutney is also extra. It looked nothing like the picture on the website. If the picture of what I actually got had been put on the website no one would order it. It was supposed to be marinated but The actual dish had not been and had no sauce, no spices and no flavor at all. The paneer was

Nice restaurant with tablecloths and good service. They have a very active takeout clientele but not a lot of diners the night we were there. The food is good and typical of Indian restaurants. We were impressed that their cooked chicken was not dry or overcooked. Ample parking.

Superb buffet offering for Mother's Day! Phone battery wasn't holding out for many photos unfortunately but I believe offerings included salad, some sort of lamb with potatoes (sauce was good but otherwise just ok), fish korma, butter chicken (excellent), I think saag paneer (wife and I really liked it but kids wouldn't try it since it was spinach), chicken tikka masala (very good), tandoori chicken (good), naan and rice. I believe they may have had some other sauces and possibly soup(s) but didn't really take time with all the rest of the food. Almost forgot - vegetable pakora

Pakwaan is solid Punjabi-style Indian food. I have not dined in since the start of the pandemic, but I have recently gotten takeaway a few times. It is always hot and delicious and packaged nicely.

When ordering spiced selections, I request medium, and it is still fairly mild. (The restaurant requests mild, medium, or spicy as a range.)

Ordering by phone is very easy, and the menu is available online.

The selection is pretty standard with a limited number of dishes. A few of my favorites are not available, and the restaurant does not do off menu requests.

My favorites here are the baingan

SLAM DUNK!
I was skeptical after reading the Yelp reviews as I haven't been so lucky to find an Indian restaurant that is as good as my favorite, back home in RI. I'm here to say the Tikka Masala was delicious..paired with garlic naan . Delivery was timely and food was still hot.
I'm so happy I can stop searching!

I've never been more excited to write a review! Pakwaan was highly recommend to us and surpassed all expectations. The food was ready perfectly on time, hot and ready to enjoy. The staff member we picked up from was so nice and friendly. Next day, the food heats up so well, no sogginess or dryness. Now about the food...absolutely delicious!!! I've eaten Indian from all over CA, NY and DC area and while yes it's not India, Pakwaan was better than any of those restaurants I'd been to! The amount of flavor is unbelievable, so rich and fresh! The naan was amazing, soft, from scratch

This review is based on delivery, so I can't comment on service or the restaurant itself. We have been meaning to try this place for a long time and tonight was finally the night. We were not disappointed either.

I wondered why it took so long, I can only guess that the food is made fresh. Hubby had the chicken tikka Malala and said it was very good. He was surprised to taste tandoori chicken because many places don't use tandoori chicken in the masala. He was really happy about this and as he said "ran the train" on it - nothing left!

I had the veggie biryani. Sooooo many

Did take out here and am extremely disappointed. This place is on the higher end of prices yet the portions are unreasonable and odd.

The portions of the meat in regards to the chicken tandoori and lamb chops were fine, however, in the Indian/Pakistani restaurant realm you get a side of some sort with each dinner entree (e.g chickpeas, lentils, spinach). Also, with any grilled/ tandoori/ kabob entree it is almost always paired with naan (bread) which is included in the cost. Here we paid $14 for the tandoori chicken and $18 for the lamb chops and got no side, no bread, just one container of rice

My parents favorite Indian spot, and you should know they are the most pickiest eaters in the world. They looked the naan above anything else. My mom says she could never replicate this at home, so definitely order that! I highly recommend getting the paneer curry and the kofta. Those are staples to when we go out to eat because they are the most flavorful but still have different flavor profiles. If you're a little bit on the adventurous side, then get the palak paneer which isn't cream based. Unfortunately, our family is vegetarian so we did not order any meat based options. But definitely

Visited Pakwaan for the first time and I will return! We got lamb curry, chicken tikka masala and a piece of naan. The food was served is a timely manner. All of the staff were clean and well dressed. We ordered our food medium spicy. It could have used a little more heat as it did not have much. But the flavor of the food was on point! If you want taste without heat, the food here was great.
