Services
Katie offers individualized sessions for every client. She does a detailed intake and listens carefully so that she can fully meet your expectations for the session.
Unlike at a spa, sessions are priced the same, and Katie will base the level of pressure (deep tissue, lighter flow massage) and the modalities she uses (traditional effleurage and petrissage [Swedish], myofascial release, cranio-sacral techniques, or polarity and energy work) on your intake and what she finds your body responds best to when you are on the table. She often includes the use of hot towels, hot stones, and aromatherapy in her work.

Restorative Yoga is a therapeutic modality in which a client's body is positioned in comfortable yoga poses using blankets, bolsters, and other props. After consulting with the client, the poses are chosen to create ease in the body and to address any specific concerns of the client. A private restorative yoga session usually involves 3-5 postures which are held for about 10-12 minutes each.
Katie loves working with pregnant women! She has been working with pregnant clients and their families as a massage therapist, doula and midwife assistant for over fifteen years. In addition to offering skilled prenatal and postpartum massage, Katie works with women to offer pregnancy and birth education and support.
