This has to be one of the most poorly run medical offices in San Diego. The front office staff is very rude. While the doctor is nice the overall experience was terrible. I’ve never been to a professional office where they charge an extra fee to use a credit card. To rub salt in the wound when I went to pick my pain meds they put in the wrong prescription.

I was hoping by now I would be able to rate them hire because the staff and Doctors are really nice but they really don't do their jobs well and they do not care if you suffer, I have done EVERYTHING, they have ask of me including passing their Psychological evaluation and they have failed to call in my pain meds for 2 days, I am in so much Pain, I can Not walk, this is Horrible to treat your Patients this way, I have been suffering for months waiting for some pain relief and they have failed me..So sad

I was referred here hoping they would be able to help with my lower back pain. I've had about 5 visits and nothing works. The wait time to be called inside is ridiculously long. Takes about 45-1hr for a nurse to take you to a room then you wait another 45 minutes just to see Doctor Steiner for 5 minutes. She's always in a rush, doesn't seem like she cares or pays attention to what you say. The pain hasn't gone away and her answer to it is getting shots which make the pain worse. Feels like I'm wasting my time and seeing the wrong person to help my pain.

Great office staff, great doctor. She Listens and is very thorough. Staff is kind and polite. I’ve been to 2 previous pain management doctors that made me feel like running out the door. Dr. Steiners’ practice is by far a better quality of human beings who care about their careers and their patients. I feel welcome and cared for here.

I saw her years ago, around 2008-2010. She truly does care. She’s listen. It felt great for someone to acknowledge my pain and my issues and not try to down play it or assume I was faking it. But that being said I wanted to find a way to fix my issues and I felt like she over medicated the issue. I was in legit pain, but I also didn’t want to be a zombie. To be honest I’m still in pain but I’ve learned to push though. My pain tolerance is much higher. Dr Steiner, is an excellent, caring, compassionate doctor and her office medical receptions staff tend to everyone's needs. Dr Stiener takes the time to sit with her patients and asks how the medication has made the difference or not and then she tries to give you something that will help with the pain. Dr. Steiner is the only doctor in San Diego that I have seen that works with the all patients even while there is a Coronavirus going on, putting her patients first, I don't think there is another doctor takes that risk just to make sure all her patients don't suffer in these hard

Dr. Alicja Steiner has very low quality staff managing her office, who seem to have 0 experience. I've been her patient for many years, due to delay in traffic, I was 10 minutes late to my appointment today. I had booked the appointment in an urgency, as I was in pain. After I had arrived to her office, they made us reschedule the appointment after a whole 30 minute drive to their office. Sometimes, I would wait an hour and a half for the doctor to see me, but when I'm 10 minutes late I'm supposed to reschedule?! I had to cancel my appointment as I didn't have any other dates

Trust me what you are feeling in your gut is accurate. The doctor and her team genuenly see this practice as a "cash cow" "money maker." Dr. Steiner and her crew contemplate daily how they can make the most money. If you are seeking a doctor who genuly cares about you and your pain...trust me please!!! this is not the doctor.

This is a poorly run office with very rude and inconsiderate staff.
I went to translate for someone, and will never, ever, set foot in that office again. Previous reviews say you do not see the doctor, you see the PA for medication refill.
This was exactly my experience. Very unprofessional handling of the case.
It is a shame that people who go to a doctor because they need medical care are subjected to such unprofessional and disrespectful treatment.

I See Dr. Steiner for many reasons. I have a pinched nerve in my neck, have chronic migrane headaches, and have a herniated disc in my lower back. I am very happy with the help that I get. I get medications as well as something called trigger point injections. The trigger point injections are simply fabulous. They are shots that are given in my lower back, my neck, as well as my head, and I am not talking about botox. This stuff is much better.

Absolute worst doctors experience I have ever had...ever!!! I only went to that office 3 times and every time I went in I was there for not 1..not 2...not 3...but yes 4...FOUR hours!!!! Each time!!!! Wth. I am not an angry person....at all but everytime I left there I wanted to punch someone. She did nothing for me and her P.A. was so rude. Office staff was nice but screw the doctor and the P.A. she only saw me the first appt and then I had to see the P.A. she over books so you wait 4 hrs to be seen for a total of 5 mins. No thanks! If you have been referred to this Dr get a new referral right away! Thus office is horrible! The wait is a minimum of 1&1/2 hours to be seen past your appt, some days it's 3 hours. Time and the staff is rude and uncompassionate. The dr. Herself is so overbooked because she is only in it to make money she doesn't listen to your concerns she is just going to give you a standard answer that doesn't fix your pain or help to actually heal you. Trust me and stay away. Find a dr. That cares.

She takes personal phone calls on your dime she takes tea breaks . . so after waitting for hours you may see her for 5 minutes.
