Diane Roh is a board certified Nurse Practitioner in Adult-Gerontology with Masters of Science in Nursing from San Diego State University. Before she became an NP, she worked as an Orthopedic RN for over five years at Sharp Grossmont Hospital. Russel is a board-certified physician assistant who graduated from University of Utah School of Medicine in 2019.
Prior to PA school, he served in the US Navy as a Hospital Corpsman for 6 years. Mani is a board-certified Physician Assistant, graduated from Samuel Merritt University in Oakland in 2016. He has eager to stay ahead in our dynamic health care system and ever-changing medical advances. Dr. Meng is a nationally-recognized expert in ultrasound, who has published several textbooks on ultrasound studies and guided injections.

I am a patient of Sage Pain and Wellness, and have been so for the past five years. I adore Dr. Hurshman! He actually listens to me when I speak to him, he asks questions for clarification as I have a very complicated medical history. He is concerned about his patients well being. His sincerity, authenticity genuineness, and realness allows a patient to come forward in an honest effort to communicate. He is a superb physician and human being! Best Wishes! MEB

I've been a patient for 10+ years. Dr.Qian really cares about his patients and he listens to us. One thing I really like is he takes nurses that just graduated and they get 6-9 months hands on training. Unlike some doctors he tells you all your options and let's you know what's best for the patient and not his bank account. Thank you very much for all you've done for me. Also he has a really good sense of humor it helps to make the patients more relaxed.

I've always been treated with respect and human kindness at this (my) pain management. Dr. Qian and the staff have been wonderful in treating my chronic pain. I feel like family when I go to my appointments. Great job guys and please keep up the great work. Its not always easy for us suffering with chronic pain to be happy, but the positivity vibes I get at Sage Pain and Wellness clinics makes it a lot easier to deal with my pain issues. Thank you all from the bottom of my heart.

I have been going to this facility for a couple of years now, in the beginning it was a little rough trying to get everything sorted out but it did eventually. The staff in the front and back are awesome, always very professional courteous and friendly. Diane is an absolute godsend. She has helped me tremendously I just hope that she never leaves. Keep up the good work, see you next month.

I’ve been a patient for over a decade and have had good and bad experiences. For the most part, the customer service is poor. I can only think of one person (who is still there) that I’ve had good experiences with on a regular basis. There’s a constant revolving door of PAs and NPs and I rarely have the opportunity to see a doctor. At one of my regular appointments (about 1 1/2 years ago) I was given a piece of paper to sign stating that I am aware this office is currently in trouble with the state. This was how they told me and they didn’t tell me much. Literally handed me a piece of paper

I absolutely love Dr. Qian! He is very caring about the pain I'm in and does whatever is allowable for me. He is excellent at giving injections and causes as minimal pain as
possible. I wont let anyone else give me injections in my back, hip, etc., except him. I hope he never leaves the office, for any reason. He's the ONE to go to if you are in pain. Hopefully, at the beginning of the new year, the idiotic and insane opiate regulations will go back to the way they were before and the ignorant government will keep their noses out of the medical field, ONCE AND FOR ALL!!!!

During these difficult times Sage clinic has helped me to live a better life. The staff is mostly great just with one exception. I know during these times it’s hard to be a chronic pain patient and also it’s difficult fir the Doctors to treat without the threats from the CDC. So thank you Sage and I hope this helps someone that is in pain. ✊

All of my appointments (for these past two years) have been ON TIME , never having to wait to see the doctor more than a few minutes at most; it is the same at the others clinics I sometimes go to, but the La mesa clinic is the location most frequented.
The level of care and attention given to me is obvious to anyone, The doctor never finishes with me in less than twenty to twentyfive minutes at best. Again because they care.
