Spin Cafe is a fun and casual American restaurant, in the beautiful Heber Valley of northern Utah, just 20 minutes from Park City. Spin's eclectic menu is all about freshness and flavor. And the vibe is fun, hip and friendly. We make fresh gelato every day. We have a full liquor license, including Utah beers on tap, creative house cocktails and our favorite wines.
When it comes to our food, Spin Cafe keeps it fresh and real, and we have some fun! We hand-cut our spinny fries from fresh potatoes (they're naturally curly!), add a splash of lime to our fresh Caesar dressing, and bring our house-smoked bar-b-q to a higher level with our fragrant fresh-ground spice rubs.

Services
Spin Cafe is owned and run by Vincent and Joline Esposito. The two of us met in college in Maine. Sharing a strong interest in food and its traditions, we opened our first restaurant together in 1990 in Telluride, Colorado. It was called Campagna, and we served rustic Tuscan food and gelato using the absolute best and freshest ingredients.

Unless you like a LOT of rosemary, DO NOT GET THE BURGER. I didn't like the pasta either, but the family did. Jusy go with the ckicken sandwich and add extra sauce. The "spin" is apparently taking things that are known to be good and ruining them. The bison burger tasted like I was eating plants straight out of the wilderness. The Gelato was good though. And the cost, WAY overpriced for what we got.

We have been driving past Spin Cafe for over a year. We decided to take the plunge and we are so very glad we did. From outside appearances, it looks like a fancy diner. Nope! The food is eclectic and delicious. The menu will have something to please everyone, and their take on Fettuccini Alfredo takes top prize. Do not skip dessert!!! Their homemade gelato is decadently delicious. If you want to have an even better time, ask for a table in Shay's section. She had us in the palm of her hands at, "Hello." Overall very good... Good options for gluten free people. Bbq pulled pork sandwich was good, fries were tasty. Gelato was amazing.
Waitress was helpful and friendly.
The reason for 4 stars is the portion sizes were small... both the sandwich and fries and the cost is high for what I got. The food took along time for a Tuesday night.

My take on this place is very different than others obviously. It was crowded tonight. 6 of us and not my choice! ( boyfriend loves the place?..) We met some out of town friends there in Heber...we came from Salt Lake.
Possibly 3 of 6 liked their food.. ..Ravioli, hamburger and some bbq sandwich. Our guests...one had Stir Fry and other "bland" fettuccine...Tims words not mine. I have been here 4 times and not once have I been thrilled with my lunch/dinner. I sweat over the menu trying to find something I can "fake it" thru dinner. The stir fry is not like any stir fry

We love this place! We have always stopped here when on the road. Their pull pork and burgers are great, their soup today was super yummy: butternut squash, their service was very good and their gelato was as always wonderful. Spin Cafe is a definite yes! Update, once again after a couple of years, just as delicious! Thanks for staying open during these hard times, what a treat!

I enjoyed my meal at spin cafe! Stopped here with some friends after a hike and swim at jordanelle reservoir! They had a few vegan options and an entire separate menu for vegetarians and vegans.... I had the veggie burger with fries. It was pretty good. The only thing is I don't think the server knew the difference between vegetarian and vegan cuz I kept saying vegan then she would say back to my vegetarian but that's pretty normal. Good atmosphere... and they have great desert! All my meat eater friends enjoyed their meals too!

We visited on Sunday so most restaurants were closed but we found Spin Cafe. What a great find! We had the sweet potato wedges and house made onion rings and wow they were good. They have many items that sounded good but we decided on salads that were crisp with great dressings. With a salad we felt "virtuous" and had room for the gelato! A very good restaurant with very friendly staff. Highly recommend Spin Cafe.

My husband and I enjoyed the lunch special, which was a brisket sandwich. It was a powerhouse of flavor, yet soft, juicy, with a nice "spin" of fresh crunchy pickles, red cabbage slaw and BBQ sauce. To quench the meal, we combined three flavors of Gelato: double chocolate, peach and salted caramel. It will knock your pallettes off.

Stopped in after riding some trails in the mountains to grab dinner. Had onion rings which were amazing and super fresh. Wife had the sesame chicken stir fry which she loved. I had the Buffalo Burger and it was juicy and had so much flavor to it. The owners who run this were very polite and I would eat here multiple times weekly if we lived in this area. Definitely a must for Heber City

Good service, amazing onion rings but that's as far as it goes. The rest of the dinner was disappointing. My medium - medium well poblano steak was charred leather, my husbands bison burger was supposed to be medium rare and was also charred leather. May have been a busy night. Saving grace- the Affogado- a scoop of gelato drowned in a shot of espresso. Yummy! I will definitely go back for another but may skip dinner.

We decided to sit outside our waitress was super nice, wore a mask and gloves. We got out a couple of different things. The veggi Buddha bowl was delicious, and fire roasted shishinto peppers .
My folks got the daily special sandwich and a wilted bacon salad which was also very tasty. This is great food, at a great price.

We love local spots when we are traveling and this cafe didn't disappoint! Everything is made from scratch and you can tell! I had the veggie burger and I'm making them like this from now on! Yum! My daughter had the kids chicken fingers and spinner fries- she inhaled them! The sweet potato wedges are worth the calories, people! Wow! The sriracha sauce is BOMB! Save room for their epic gelato- we plan to go back for more flavors tomorrow! We tried strachiatella (it's legit!) and the lemon basil sorbetto (so refreshing).... great end to a fabulous meal! Really enjoyed dinner this evening! The Poblano Steak was the highlight of my meal and was cooked and seasoned perfectly. I thought it was a great value for the price too. The peach berry cobbler dessert was absolutely fantastic and the coconut gelato was wonderful. I've enjoyed dining here over the years and would highly recommend it to anyone. Thank you.

Came for the homemade gelato which is definitely five star, as was the excellent espresso we had to accompany it. You have generous portions, tasting opportunities and it's all fresh and homemade. The creme brulee and dark chocolate were my ultimate combination. The price was right too and the service was great.

I love food. I mean, have you seen my photo? We went here for our anniversary dinner last night, and won't be rushing back. Our server was super friendly and we'd love to have her at any restaurant!
We came for the food, and it is over priced for what is is...which is no better than a low scale diner.
Hubby had the Poblano steak, which was well cooked. It was advertised that it had seasoning on it. Nothing. Totally bland. I think they forgot to season it at all. He gave me a bite. His Tuscan broccoli, while also well cooked was so drenched in butter as making it inedible. We love butter
