Jenise's experience in the field of Pilates is rooted in 20 years of body mechanics study and application. As a child dancer and later a competitive triathlete she learned the importance of the mind and body connection first hand. Living a pain free and active lifestyle, lead her to pursue a comprehensive STOTT PILATES certification in 2011.
Jenise is trained in post-rehabilitation through physical therapist, Melissa Condron. Athletic Reformer courses from mavericks John Garey and Courtney Miller have also inspired her teaching style. Jenise has worked with hundreds of clients throughout the San Francisco Bay Area. Rehabilitation after back and hip surgery where mobility and stability are especially important doing every day activities.

I had my first Pilates lesson with Jenise this week. I would say I am pretty active in general and I try to workout 3-4 times a week doing various workouts such as dance, yoga, Zumba and other reformer workout. Even though I work out regularly, I was not able to lose any weigh for the last 2 months. I told Jenise my trouble areas are my stomach and I wanted to tone my back. I started working with Jenise in my second trimester of pregnancy. What a skilled, attentive instructor! I'd been away from Pilates apparatus for 2 years when I met Jenise and chose her based on strong recommendation. I've done many private and group classes in various cities and found Jenise's private class perfect. I can't say enough great things about Jenise. From the moment you walk into her class, she emits energy and positivity that immediately makes you happy you are there with her. I attended her prenatal pilates classes religiously ahead of the birth of my first child and have never felt stronger. Now pregnant with my second, and unable to see her for a long time due to COVID, I see a noticeable difference in my body strength and disposition. Jenise is the best!! I have been taking her group reformer classes and at-home mat classes for the past two years. Every class is different and challenging which makes it fun. She makes a real effort to incorporate new moves that target those small muscles. Her attentiveness makes you feel like you are really getting a one-on-one experience, even over Zoom! She is so encouraging and always up beat. If you haven't taken Jenise's classes yet - today is the day!! You will feel energized, toned and motivated!

Jenise is a very knowledgeable pilates instructor. I have enjoyed every single class with her, especially during COVID. Her energy and enthusiasm is contagious! It was a day like any other. I was stretching out on the reformer prepping for a session with Jenise when she asked how my body was feeling. Without thinking I said "I feel strong" and that was the first time I realized how my hard work with her was paying off in ways that I could actually see and feel. Be prepared for energy and intensity. Pilates with Jenise will kick you into high gear!

Jenise is the best. Have taken her class both in a semi-private and group setting and she is so attuned to your body, form and personal needs - plus positive and always fun to see. She does such a great job incorporating stretching, flexibility and mobility in addition to strength and deep core for a really balanced approach to pilates and health. Jenise is a wonderful Pilates instructor. I have been taking private lessons with her for almost two years now. I was a complete novice when I started working with her and she is has always been a patient and knowledgeable teacher. She knows when to push me further and when my body needs rest or a slower pace. I appreciate how Jenise emphasizes the importance of stretching as well as working on my overall stamina. She teaches you to become more aware of your body and I find that my posture and balance have improved. I recommend her highly.

I have been working with Jenise to improve flexibility and reduce back pain for about six months. Jenise takes the time to understand your body and personalizes each workout and session to your needs. She's also given me great tips and suggestions outside of sessions.
