Classes at UMAC are separated by age and skill level, ensuring that students are training with others with similar maturity and ability. Our two-week free trial offers families the ability to test drive our program to make sure that we are a good fit.

Our martial arts programs are specifically designed by age groups and experience level. This allows students to progress at their own pace, learn alongside friends who are of similar age and skill level--all the while having fun and building confidence in their skills. United Martial Arts Centers are feature large open space and ample seating for parents and family members to observe classes.
We recognize the flaws and mind-numbing boredom that can come along with some other gym-bound activities. Here at United Martial Arts Centers, we have designed classes to work your butt off, but it will feel effortless because of how much fun you will have and how engaged you will feel with other participants.
We'll pick your children up from school every day and bring them to our fun and safe studio to exercise, socialize, and study. They'll have had a very productive afternoon by the time you are ready to pick them up! We are proud to offer month-to-month memberships for all of our programs.

Today was my sons first class. Master Bender welcomed my son into his Martial Arts Family with open arms. The class was organized and interactive. In addition the class fostered leadership skills, confidence and strength. My son left looking forward to the next class.

My nearly 5 year old son is in the Dragons TKD class. He loves the class and Master Bender is a fantastic instructor. He is always positive and energetic and lets the kids have fun while also keeping them disciplined. We are seeing our son's focus increase and he is so happy every week as he improves on certain skills. I hope that my son will continue to enjoy it as when he's older I would love for him to attend their after school program.

We’ve been members here just shy of a year and I cannot say enough good things about our experience at UMAC and with Master Bender and the other instructors. My son has a lot of energy and needs a lot of input. He has not only learned great skills, but he has increased focus and achieved new levels of confidence he never had before. When he’s not at class he is always talking about things he learned in class. He tries to incorporate the student creed into every day activities and just the other day said when he grows up he wants to be like Master Bender and teach other kids as well. So happy

Master Bender is an outstanding positive role model. He inspires and motivates the children to be the best they can be. Master Bender creates a safe environment where respect is the ongoing theme in all activities. Our grandson has had had an amazing summer. Nikolai looks forward to getting to UMAC camp every day. The staff that works with Master Bender is caring and compassionate. They also have contributed to his wonderful experience.

UMAC is one of the few places you can do together as a family. Master Bender provides such support and builds confidence. He truly is one of a kind... I have been a part of the UMAC family for 4 years and we really are a family. My son at the age of 9 became a black belt and is working his way to become an instructor . Schedules are flexible to fit you. No long term commitment . But once you start you won't want to stop. So much fun and great experience .

My Son entered Master Bender’s program about 4 years ago now. If you know my son you know how shy he can be, and it all started with a 👍 and 👎 as part of his communication there. Fast forward to now, he’s getting ready for his 2nd degree Black Belt in the spring. He’s also part of the leadership and demo team. He has also helped out with younger students at the school in many ways. We cannot say enough about UMAC Monroe and Master Bender and his team!!!! I highly recommend this program to all ages!!!

My son absolutely loves everything about the UMAC Monroe location! The teachers are fantastic and engaging. The Monroe location has been very warm and welcoming from the time we enrolled! Everyone is super friendly and sociable. My son looks forward to going to the UMAC everyday (especially Friday fundays). He always says it's the best part of his day! Master Bender is a mesmerising teacher, holding all the kids attentions throughout the class as well as giving them a great "ninja" workout (which leads to earlier bedtime...bingo!) The aftercare program goes over their homework with them, teaches

Why I did love the class and the structure my son was given. I must say they lack communication. I made an inquiry the beginning of February and was told I would get a response 24hrs. I reached out again and was told they were waiting on a response from the owner. To date I have not received a response.

Our 7 year old daughter has been attending UMAC in Monroe since the fall of 2016. This has been by far her favorite activity. She's grown tired and unchallenged with other activities. However, 7 months in and she continues to look forward to her tae Kwon do class every time! She has grown more confident with each class and enjoys a strong sense of pride and accomplishment with each belt graduation.
