Located just west of downtown by the Alameda, this place has a lot of different options both as a mini grocery store and fresh bakery. I got a box of various treats that I took to a coffee shop to pair with some black coffee. Really love the pistachio and walnut in everything.

Old pastries by the window, tasted like its been frozen and old oil. Ive had fresh baklava these are definitely expired. No expiration dates in the back. Threw it away.
Check for shelf nuts also on the grocery section some are expired dates also.

But the morning pastry bakes are delicious!and fresh. I'll come back for more.

I wanted to get everything off this menu! The pastries were super delicious - got the stuffed cheese, stuffed potato, kihi, and stuffed spinich as well as an assortment of baklavas. My favorite was the kihi and rolled pistachio baklava. Definitely need to come back to try their other stuff! I'd recommend going during the morning hours because lots of their best-selling goods do run low. All the staff members were super friendly. Definitely wouldn't mind splurging on more sweets next time.

Came in a new customer and walked out a happy one!! There's a variety of freshly baked and appetizing goodies here, both sweet pastries and savory ones, as well as staple shelf items like tahini, halva, dates, etc. The gentleman was super nice and similar to other Yelpers here, he took the time to walk me through their menu and answer any questions I had. Looking forward to enjoying these goodies especially the ma'amoul with my coffee!

Lovely bakery with fresh pita bread! Lots of savory baked options and a variety of sweet baklava too. Good spot to stock up on specialty items like olives, halva, Turkish coffee, and humus.

No indoor/outdoor seating that I saw, but VERY friendly service and a parking lot adjacent.

Best pita bread in the Bay! Plus they have lahmacun (hey call it seefha here). And then , there is the baklava and kunafah! If you come at the right time, you will see the pita being baked/cooled/bagged. Closed sunday and monday.

This is an authentic middle eastern, Levant/Palestinian bakery that offers bread, hummus, falafel, desserts and Pastries among other things. Everything I tried there tastes great! I bought Mamoul ( middles eastern dessert served on special holidays like Eid el Fitr) and spinach pies. Both tasted exactly as the should be made in the Levant region.

However, it was pricy. $16 for a small box of Mamoul and $2.99 for a small spinach pie. If they can drop their prices, I'm sure they'll attract more customers. Their operating hours are limited. With the high quality items they provide, I

This is the *spot* for delicious treats and sweets from the Levant! Their manakeesh, baklava, pita bread, hummus, stuffed pastries, zaataar, sfeehas, etc. are all freshly made and to die for!

The quaint little shop only allows in three customers at a time and only has one employee and one cook working at a time. This means, there can be quite a wait. However, the employee who took my order and rang me up was incredibly kind and it wasn't a big deal at all! I will warn you that their grocery items on the side are incredibly pricey and their baklava and other desserts are on the more expensive

This is a small place, but there's people coming over all the time due to the high quality of their products.
The pastries and sweets are very good. The hummus and pita bread are simply delicious!
Since I found out about the Israeli bagel, it has been part of my family's Saturday breakfast every week.

This bakery has a little bit for everyone: sweet, savory, spicy & basic options, but above all a lot of taste!

The staff is amicable, they double-check your order and make sure you don't have questions about the products.

I ordered:
Stuffed spinach (a tender crusted hand pie filled with spinach and onions)
Sfeeha (a tender flatbread crust, topped with a thin layer of a spiced beef patty)
Stuffed beef (hand-formed pie filled with seasoned ground lean beef and peas)
Stuffed Potato (soft baked roll filled with a spiced potato and sauteed onion filling)
Stuffed Cheese (a mild

I don't like Balklava that much because most if not all have walnuts inside of them but I finally found a place that has them without walnuts and they are toooo delicious!!

I would highly recommend this place for anyone who is looking for a fresh sweets.

They are on the pricey side not sure if all are the same price but definitely worth it.

I would recommend to call ahead of time because it seems like they have selected times when they are open.

Sultan bakery is baklava whisperer. Their pistachio, walnut, cashew and almond baklavas are divine perfection. Their falafels are crunchy on the outside, moist on the inside and pairs perfectly with Sultan bakery's pita bread. During COVID times, it has become fashionable to support local businesses. I don't come here again and again to support a local business, I come here again and again because they are damn good at their craft. Their dedication to every dish they make has made me an ardent fan of Sultan bakery and all of their goodies. I am grateful for having this amazing local business

They don't have huge varieties of Baklava now. But the baklavas still taste wonderful and little bigger than before.

The person at the counter was so patience and helped every customer with their questions. He is THE BEST person in serving the customers. He was changing gloves for every customer, which is very impressive during this pandemic.

Baklava per pound is 15.99$ as of 11/06/2020.

Best bakery for Palestinian bread, they have a good collection of bakhlawa as well, have been frequenting this well over 7-8 years as far as I remember. They also have small pies, savory and really delectable. Apart from this they sell some spice and middle east delicacies, the pita is their usp though, freshly made every morning. To top it all they are now selling authentic Palestinian olive oil.
Must visit

Fab freshly made pita daily! AND they have both regular or whole wheat to choose from. I much preferred the regular. It was fluffier and tastier, but of course, you'd expect that from using good ol' plain flour. A bag of six will set you back only a couple bucks.

We also ordered half a dozen bird's nest and bracelet baklava ($15.99/lb, so about $1.50 per piece after my very rough calculations). Light and crispy filo, soaked in honey and topped with pistachios. The difference between these two were the texture of the filo. The bird's nest was like crispy thin sweet noodles
