At Longevity Personal Fitness the focus is on the movements we do every day: bending, reaching, rotating, squatting, pushing/pulling, and construct exercises that strengthen our ability to do these tasks, challenging our motor control, strength, and coordination. Using proven health science methodology focused on maintaining a high level of mental and physical function, I'll offer options that are safe, fun, and beneficial.

I want you to exercise in a way that feels good and doesn't wear you down. We'll begin our training together by conducting a simple, physical, full-body assessment to determine which needs are most apparent and address those areas first. Your personal training sessions are then planned to progress week by week focusing on biomechanics, strength, functional movement, and whole-body health.
Training sessions start with a complimentary assessment with Senior Trainer, Mike Romano. The assessment provides the information needed to tailor your workouts to your unique body, needs, and goals. After determining your schedule, you'll have direct, personalized contact with Mike. Live sessions will take place via Zoom (with all necessary security precautions in place).

Mike was referred to me by a friend who knew I was seeking functional strength training to support my running and injury prevention goals. Started with Mike in June after finishing physical therapy for arm surgery. He has been a big help in strengthening the arm and is also working with me on balance and flexibility. My husband has also started going and we both look forward to our workouts. Very professional but also very personable.

I have been working with Mike Romano since July of this year after a long search for a personal trainer. Mike is a perfect match for my needs: He's perceptive, knowledgeable, thoughtful, and extremely patient. He tailors each workout to his individual clients' needs. I really love that we work with breathing and isometrics, rather than boring repetitions. By doing exercises in a slow, controlled manner with focus on breathing, I feel that my body responds better and is getting stronger. Mike is also very personable and kind. Mike is an amazing trainer and has a completely new approach to fitness. He understands the weaknesses and strengths of an individual and ensures every exercise takes that into account. I really enjoy the sessions and actually look forward to them. He pushes you to do your best but at the same time not too much to injure you in any way. Within a few weeks of getting started I feel stronger!

Mike has an amazing approach to fitness. He immediately makes you feel safe and comfortable. He is patient and wants to make sure you leave the training feeling better than you arrived. What I have learned from Mike at Longevity is unlike what I have seen and felt from other trainers. He gives you all of his attention and is dedicated to having you feel strong without getting hurt.
