Michael was born and raised in Perry Hall, MD.
He grew up in the car wash business with his stepfather, Larry, and now runs The Car Wash with his stepfather by his side. Larry has worked in the car wash industry for over 30 years. He enjoys restoring cars, is a pillar of the community, and is "pop-pop" to his young grandson Alex. A sense of community starts at home.

The Car Wash offers 2 drive-thru touch free laser-wash tunnels. A touch free laser-wash uses high pressure water and cleaners without cloths that come into contact with your car. Laser-washes are often preferred to soft-cloth car washes where cars can be scratched or damaged by dirt buildup in the cloths.

Do not go here! Paid for the vacuum and it never turned on. Called their “customer service” number and never got a hold of anyone. Requested a refund on their website but no follow-up from the company. Car wash service is overpriced and leaves car still dirty. Will not recommend!!!

I payed for the $12 automatic wash, every wash pass looked like just straight water, little to no appearance of any soap. My car looked more or less the same afterwards. Pretty much a $12 car rinse off which I could do at home. No air dryers to dry off the car due to it looking like an old machine. Overall not satisfied. Take note and drive the 3 miles down the road to Soapyshell car wash in Perry hall. First and last time visiting this location.

I used the automated wash vs the hand wash and it did an average wash of my suv. I had to do some hand washing afterwards and then got back in line to go through a 2nd time to clear what I had done, only to never get my wash because the bay wasn't working. It took my money though! I called the number to ask for a refund and no one ever answers, you just get a recorded message telling you to send an email as they are busy helping other customers. Right. No one is onsite... I sent an email 4 days ago requesting a refund and haven't received a response. I'll update this post if they contact me.

You can get a great deal through them on the car wash app. Unfortunately, I found their equipment to not always be the most reliable. Occasionally, soap won't come out of the power washing handle nor will the spot free rinse work (not that it isn't spot free, but that nothing will come out of the nozzle under that setting). If they improve their maintenance/quality control, could easily be a 5 star venue.

The 1st station machine is broken. It always gives me error multiple times when I use the Everwash app to scan. Most of the time it said "the swipe is busy" and nothing happened. Even though I restart my phone but the problem is still there. It's so annoying because sometimes I had been waiting in line for long time and the swipe machine didn't work when it was my turn, so I had to drive out and go to another station then wait again.

I took my Nissan there today to clean her up (she was really dirty!). I always have a good experience at this local car wash. The grounds are usually clean, plenty of suds from the soap brush & the power rinsing wand is strong! Finished it off with wax, & decided to vacuum it later on. Overall, a good experience at a good price. I will definitely return when it's time to wash the car again.

I came in because I desperately needed to vac out my van. I didn't need a wash so much but the only way to get to the vacuums is to get in line for the car washes. I had a bag of quarters but their machines also accept credit cards and you can increase the time by pressing a button before your time elapses. Perfect! The car in front of me took their sweet time washing their car with every possible option, so I kept vacuuming! When I was able to enter the car wash bay, it wouldn't accept my credit card and I decided that only a vac was fine by me, and I drove on through. Would be a bummer

This is my first time in this area and I needed a car wash, but to pay 12 dollars and my car still looks like what it did before going through the wash is horrible. They state no spot dry needed but I have water spots all over my car. 12 bucks down the drain, it's the worse. Half of the vaccums didn't work wither, now I have to go pay more money somewhere else.

I put $1.50 in vacuum station 9. Nothing happened. Tried the drive thru laser wash. Very poor results.

Yes, it's me for a second time. I'm very impressed that the owner of The Car Wash responded in a very timely manner. I'll take responsibility for the error with the vacuum. I looked at the price label several times, and my mind saw $1.25. I put in the 6th quarter thinking that one of the previous ones didn't fall properly. I didn't have a 7th. I've been here on several occasions to use the self-wash and vacuum out my car. I went in today expecting to do the same when the battery in my car died while at the vacuums. Joe came over to assess what was going on and then went and got Larry, the manager. These men went above and beyond. Larry brought out a portable jumper, didn't work. Went and pulled his SUV around to jump from there, didn't work. Took a look at my battery, got tools to take my battery out, then drove me to a store to buy another one and installed it in my car.
