Services
Children ages 12+ are welcomed to participate in yoga classes. C-FIT is a Wellness Program for Chesterfield County full-time employees and county officials - sessions are ongoing. Schedule a personal, private session with Debbie. Adding a personal session to your yoga practice is most beneficial. Alignment adjustments with customized instruction ensures additional safety and understanding of each individuals own body type.
In this fun, all-level class, we will focus on awareness of the body, using breath and asana (yoga postures) to promote alignment. Modifications, partner work, and props will further encourage strength, relaxation, and enjoyment as we strive in our practice to create a welcoming and supportive environment.
Stretching our tight bodies in new ways helps us to become more flexible, allowing a greater range of motion to the joints and muscles. Many yoga poses require the use of our own weight and slow movement in and out of poses helps increase strength. Our bodies become stronger and muscle tone is increased.
Please remember when you attend any of our studio classes to listen to your body! We offer modifications for all poses and only wish for you a safe practice - a mindful practice being with self! If you love us after your first class and decide to purchase a monthly pass, $25 will be deducted from your initial $89 monthly fee.
Please join us at noon for a talk about holistic therapies such as yoga, massage, meditation, breath work, energy work and how these practices can help you on your path for physical and mental wellness. Begin this Thanksgiving holiday with a yoga practice to cultivate inner peace and spaciousness as the foundation for gratitude.

Debbie started teaching under me at a local club here in Richmond. I just saw so much potential in her that I asked her if she wanted to teach. I think she was a bit hesitant to take on such a huge task but I knew she would be wonderful once she was over this jitters. She started teaching parts of my classes while studying the art of Yoga and then one day she just took to it like a duck takes to water. She grew into this fantastic teacher with this vast knowledge of Yoga and the human body in general. I am amazed she took to it so quickly and she was such a natural it was amazing to watch

The space is pleasant, but I wasn't terribly impressed with the instructor I went to. Part of it was that the "Hatha yoga" class was slower paced than what I'm accustomed to. (I usually do iyengar/anusara influenced yoga, so that's saying a lot). The instruction was ok, but didn't focus enough on preventing overflexing of the lumbar curve. I'd try it again, as it's hard to really evaluate a studio based on one teacher. (Plus the $5 intro was pretty sweet)
