I have felt in previous situations that property management companies can be difficult to deal with. NOT 2B Living! They are really wonderful to work with. Any time I had problems, they were so quick to respond and do something about the issue.
Brandt was my property manager in Berkeley and I had such a positive experience. He always answers his phone or responds to messages right away. His assistant Vincent was awesome too.
Honestly, I would love to live in one of their properties again. They really made my living experience a great one.

I really wanted to like them but I'm very disappointed. I've been a property manager and on-site manager the last 5 years. This is my first chosen place to live alone in over ten years. I was excited. Unfortunately my move has just been a complete disappointment. My back is messed up so I paid a moving company $1100 to move me shelf to shelf. When I toured the place I asked the lady would it be cleaned and would the paint be touched up? Pointing and letting her know about areas. She said yes and carries on. Cole is the BEST property manager I've ever met! I have been living in my home since 2005 and we went through a few PMs that were not friendly nor reliable. As a matter of fact, Cole's actual boss Vince replaced my refrigerator that I had forever which was a hand me down from another vacant unit! The new refrigerator is cute and small. Cole is super friendly, responsive, reliable and personable. I've worked as a Propert Manager before and it is not an easy job. I had an amazing experience with 2BL especially Mary Belaski. Mary was attentive, responsive, and EXTREMELY helpful throughout my almost two years living in a 2BL property. Any time I had an issue with my apartment Mary would assess the situation and make sure it was remedied. This Brooks Baskin is a snake .. Not only is he undermining the tenants but running an unethical operation with the landlords. His only concern is making a quick buck he ran the prop into the ground neglecting water damage & mold just bcs it would come out of his pocket ..

My wife and I rented from 2B Living twice during our three years in the California Bay Area and have nothing but good things to say about them! Management and maintenance teams are very quick to respond and professional. Property was newly renovated inside and out, very clean and well serviced. We had a great experience!

Nelly is by far the best property manager I have ever worked with! She is incredibly proactive, and she responds immediately to any issues that arise. She takes the time to ensure every job is done properly and up to her high-quality standards. I lived in my apartment for almost 12 years and experienced the turnover of managers under a different property management company (not 2B). During that time, building maintenance was neglected, simple tasks were done poorly, and small issues became big ones over time. It was only in my last year of living there that I had the joy of working with Nelly.

Nelly has genuinely been great to work with. She was very responsive whenever something went wrong with the apartment and made moving out a breeze when we left the area. She even dropped off some packages for me (!!) that I mistakenly got delivered to the old apartment. I would recommend any property managed by 2B Living; they took really good care of the apartment itself as well as the tenants that reside inside!

Had close to a four-year stay at a 2B living managed apt. The building was run well and the management team was receptive, professional, and timely for any contact. As our own principal we try and leave our rental units in as good of a condition as we get them-- reflective of that was the fair amount of security deposit that was reimbursed.

If I could give them 0 stars I would. I had to email 3 times and call 5+ times to even get a response from the leasing manager here. They do not care about tenants once you have signed the lease. I had a situation in which I was having someone else take over my current lease. The leasing manager, Erin, took a lot of chasing down and constant check-ins to get any sort of update from her. I understand everyone is busy, but she was very responsive and actually quite pushy to try and get me to sign the lease in the beginning. And now that I wanted to have someone else take over, she goes completely

I moved about a month from Florida and had to find a place last minute. The Leasing Manager, Cassandra was so helpful. She was professional and handled everything quick and efficiently. She let my friend video call me to check out the apartment and for being out of state this was a HUGE relief.

She is incredibly responsive to any issues we are having and does a great job communicating. I am in such good hands having 2B Living now as our building management company - one of the few good things that came up during the pandemic and made my life better. The past year, I have had my share of freak incidents aside from Covid-19: from a shingle crashing into my bedroom window, my toilet not working, and the awful chirping of fire alarm batteries needing replacing.. and could always count on Nelly for responding to all home emergencies in a flash. 2BL recently aquire a company called Best Bay Apartments (BBA) and one would hope that the failure to provide proper customer service would not carry on with this merger, but unfortunately, 2BL just does it in a more professional manner with an HR smile.

If I was an owner of a property I would think twice before I hire this company to manage your investments. When I first moved into this apartment thing were great. I was a tenant with 2B Living for over 3-years. From my first interaction with them viewing the apartment that we ended up renting, the 2B staff was punctual and professional. The rental application process was also very smooth and quick (and having gone through other application processes recently, I so appreciate the 2B process and quick response).
