I've been living here since June and love the place. It's very clean, and I love that it's gated at night. If any home issues requiring maintenance they're very speedy with getting out to your apartment on time. Definitely recommend, love the area and the neighbors are great!

My husband and I have had a great experience living at the Ravines! Each apartment complex comes with its own set of challenges but, overall, our stay has been nothing but pleasant. Our neighbors are friendly and the maintenance staff is one of the best I have ever encountered while living in an apartment complex. They are super responsive, helpful, and get the job done quickly and professionally!

I am still having trouble with the toilet running. It is not the maintenance man's fault. It is a poorly designed system that does not allow for precise adjustment. You can only keep bending the rod until you get it correct. I will need him to come out again. But we have learned if you pull the handle up it will push the plunger down and it quits running. The maintenance crew is always prepared, polite and accommodating. I give them 10 stars and an A+.

Leasing office can be a bit hard to get in contact with. I also had a few issues with getting the correct info for my move in date and funds due. Other than that, I have had a great experience with the maintenance team and neighbors. The grounds are kept clean and it is usually quite.

I just received terrible customer service from the Property Manager Elizabeth B. My lower neighbor accused my husband and I of allowing our dog to run around early in the morning. Instead of receiving proof or speaking with me first, she gives us our first warning that could lead to eviction! She has never heard or seen our dog. When I told her he probably heard me running to bathroom because I’m pregnant or us getting dressed in the morning, she said “maybe you can walk softer…” because obviously my husband and I stomp around as we are getting ready in the morning. Me and my boyfriend looked into this place as our first apartment. We found it on Zillow which stated there was 1 bed room being offered at $1075. So we scheduled a tour the next day at 12:00. We get there and nobody greets us, then we are told to wait at least 30 minutes. Nobody was in there and multiple people came in and left because they were not getting the service they deserved. Once we finally were talked to, they told us that price we saw was no where to be found and it wasn't available. 1 star is all this “ luxury” complex is worth. It is a beautiful building but that’s all that’s positive. I would not recommend living here. My roommate and I have only lived here two and a half months and we are already counting down the days until our lease is up. The communication in the management office is completely terrible. Every time we have a maintenance issue (which is way more than it should be in a span of two months) and try to call the office no one ever answers the phones and they don’t return voicemails when you specifically ask to get a call back. I just wanted to give the Ravines @ Westar 5 stars and a special shout out to their property manager Elizabeth Bancroft. Unfortunately we ended up going with another community due to the timing of our move, but Elizabeth went above and beyond to find us the perfect location and work with me and my daughters high maintenance requests. The facility is amazing and the units are extraordinary if you are looking to move into a townhouse or apartment do yourself a favor and look at this place and ask for Elizabeth.

Apartments are really nice but the management company doesn't seem great. Who is in the office has changed quite a few times since we've been here and cars in our gated community keep getting broken into - the office is aware of the issue and has yet to hire any sort of security at all (even just to drive through the complex randomly to deter). Break-ins have been going on for over a year and plenty of people (ourselves and neighbors we have talked with) have reported them to the office. BEWARE! Do your Homework! Do NOT rent from the Ravines at Westar!!! Or Any of Oakwood Properties(2 Star Consumer Rated) and their employees should be managing PENITENTIARIES not Residential Units. They treat Tenants like Cockroaches. They make up terms to your lease and dictate as they go. They use intimidation, violate your Privacy, Intentionally Trespass on your property and remove at will w/NO Notice.

BUCKeye Utility Service/Oakwood Mgmt.= Same Owner (John D. WYMER).

Also, they use Rookie Attorneys (Willis Law Firm) who threaten you with unlawful means. Won my case against these Criminals
