Apon entering the room, my phone was set to video record. We were all expecting to see a live presentation of the room we saw on the website. The only thing about our room of 2 queen beds for a total of $657 was the window seat.
The room pictured on the website shows 2, plush queen beds, 2 big bulky padded chairs centered on a fireplace. This room was basically a hallway with 2 queen beds, a sidewalk cafe table, flat screen t.v. on the wall, burrow used as a coffee station and a tiny bathroom. There is a Best Western near my house with larger rooms, comparable beds, kitchenette, dining table to

We visited here during the holidays and they do such a beautiful job decorating! It's a lovely lobby and the gingerbread of the property was AMAZING! Kudos to the bakery staff and whomever else worked so hard to make this such a festive display!! The trees are amazing, particularly in the fireplace room which in an of itself is very invited, albeit packed at dinnertime.
We had dinner at the Sacred Cod (see separate review) and couldn't have been more pleased.
Overall, this is a beautiful venue and even moreso in the summertime. The staff was very cordial and obliged us by taking

Wow! Just Wow! I stayed here for 2 nights with an annual conference for my company, my room was in the SPA in the first floor. If you have never been here I would highly recommend bringing your wife fora weekend get away. The room was amazing, the bed was fantastic. Hot tub, sauna and steam shower! The nicest place I have ever stayed. And you top it off the staff is some of the most professional and courteous people that could be found. Thumbs up, 5 stars. Definitely an amazing experience!!!

Lovely spa and service but felt pricing once in a service should be more transparent. I had a massage and women asked if I wanted my eye brows done. They needed it and it would save me time later. I was shocked at service desk once leaving an eye brow wax was $45!! That seems extremely steep. I am not from a fancy area so maybe I just didn't know but I typically pay $8...so even $20 seems fair but $45?!? I think they should have said the cost when I was asked. As I would have declined the offer.

Went to a children's Christmas event today ! Holiday Teddy Bear Tea party! Awful! Hand pick your very own teddy bear! The same teddy bear was placed it front of each child. The adults were told just go sit at a table. We all thought we would sit and watch and enjoy a cup of tea! Not at all. Most of the kids needed help stuffing their teddy bear! Then it said themed games and crafts! The craft was a cup and saucer and a big cup with stickers! Put stickers on your saucer! That's it! How creative! Now the themed games. Do you have a teddy bear at home? What's their name? A freeze game

Spent a few days attending a conference with my wife. The staff were amazing, Everyone had a big smile and always took the time to greet us, and wished us a pleasant stay. Food & beverage staff did an amazing job serving our meals. The food was fresh, very well presented and delicious. This is absolutely one of my top pick hotels.

My husband and I are finishing up a "fall foliage" tour of New England and choose to take side trips from Chatham. The Chatham Bars Inn made a great impression from start to finish. We approached to beautifully manicured landscaping set against a lovely property. The staff were all very helpful, rooms charming, restaurants & bar lively. We stayed 4 days and found the location very walkable to the main town of Chatham and a perspective retreat at the end of our sightseeing adventures. I would definitely recommend staying here during the Fall if you enjoy quiet elegance. Very small crowd and lively

Perfect Girls Getaway. This is truly a magical place like no other. We stayed in a cottage suite on the beach which provided us a perfect view. The sunrises were amazing! The Watermelon Margaritas and lunch at the Beach Grill delicious. Grounds are gorgeous. I want to come back just to see the mums that were delivered while we were there! Staff goes above and beyond to ensure your comfort.
We’re already planning to make this an annual visit. See you next year!

Stopped for lunch - splurging for hubby's 70th. Lovely setting on high porch overlooking the sea. Amazingly great staff! Food was disappointing for the price. Husband ordered jumbo crab cake for $21. One small crabcake!
Mussels were small and sometimes almost empty shells. Kale salad was very good as was french onion soup. Expensive but delicious cocktail. Go for the ambiance!

Service, smiles, ocean scent, magnificent views and accomodations. This establishment had to tank I'm the top five in the state of Massachusetts for resorts.
The food was most sublime and delicious.
The drinks generous.
The wine tasty.beers varied with something for everyone.
Pricey? Yes! But for those who want the very best...worth every penny.
Can't wait to return...many times.

Do not waste your money
We thought we would actually see the clam bake- not at all
We were not told anything about it when we made the reservation
We ended up getting a mediocre buffet with prime rib(?
That is what you pay $59pp for. )
If we wanted clams it was an extra $22
I thought That's what I signed up for was the clam bake
The clams were so sandy we couldn't even eat them
My daughter got lobster for an extra $60 & was nothing special. Typical buffet salad bar the corn was ice cold the dessert was cheap brand of ice cream & a no taste peach cobbler. So very disappointed

We had afternoon lunch with friends on the Veranda and the overall experience was excellent. Gorgeous views of the Atlantic with boats sailing in and out of the harbor. Service was top notch and attentive, just what you would expect given the menu prices. We had the chowder, lobster roll, fish and chips and chicken sandwich. All were yummy and fresh. Only con was the fried chicken; a bit greasy as if they pulled the meat out of the deep fryer and failed to drain it before placing on the brioche roll. But the fish dishes were fresh and tasty. Sea salt caramel brownie was shared by the group and

Gorgeous property! Service is exceptional, from valet to hostess'. Hefty price tag for pretty much everything but definitely a great experience staying here this past week.
My husband and I are very into working out everyday and I was pleasantly surprised to see pelotons on property, just login to your account and ride!
Our room was nice but, a one bedroom suite, great size but didn't love the layout but it was what we needed with a baby, and all the stuff for the baby.
Breakfast buffet was probably the best breakfast buffet I've ever had, everything is so fresh and rotated often

This review is for Stars Restaurant. We are also staying at CBI right now.... But had dinner at Stars last night and the service was absolutely terrible. Took forever to even get a server and dinner took so long between courses. Over $500 spent for dinner on 3 and it was awful. It was also my sister and mom's birthday and they did absolutely nothing. That was all ignored. I hope the next two days that we are still here improve a lot.

My husband and I heard great things about this place... but, its definitely not worth the drive..
There are three restaurants under one roof. Great atmosphere and staging, but the food is just okay. For starters:
scallops (delicious) cooked just right
crab dip, tasty but salty.
We waiting at least 40 minutes...
Entrée both came out warm.
lobster risotto, lobster, warm and risotto was mushy
Ribeye for two medium rare, warm, broccoli rabbit, cold.
We asked for manager, he took the ribeye back and still nothing changed.
Not worth the price or drive... do you research.

This is our first time in Cape Cod. We booked Chatham Bars Inn through Amex fine hotel collection. We stayed at Chatham Bars Inn for two nights, one on my birthday and the other for my baby moon. I can totally understand why there are many extreme ratings for this place. It all depends on who are welcoming you to your stay and how careful the check-in staff is. I'd give 5 star rating for my birthday and 2 star for my baby moon, even they are simply a few days apart, the level of service is completely different.
A few highlights to this place:
1. You got plenty staff around you, right from

Stayed here for father in laws 80th birthday celebration. The weather was absolutely magical, we went in mid June and this is the time to go to the Cape. Our room was fantastic we had a cottage across the road with great views. Very spacious and it had a Nespresso coffee machine which was great.
CBI employs many hundreds of people and I think they have struggled to restaff to needed levels after Covid. Many of the staff are young and a bit inexperienced. What they lack here they make up for with a cheery disposition and their good looks. Have a little patience with them as they learn.

I rated this place poorly not because of the food but because of the service. I came here with my family in the restaurant expecting to grab some drinks and scope out the inn before booking for next season. We felt discriminated from the moment we walked in, the lady at the entrance table of the bar was extremely rude and curt.
There were plenty of open tables but she needs more training when it comes to telling customers that you need to buy a full meal to sit there. She already had a frown when I asked for a table for some coffee/snacks, and was curt in saying "No, no, no". Especially

Overall: the swordfish, chowder, fish and I imagine any seafood is good. Pricey but pretty big portions.
They had ballet which was nice, beautiful deck and indoor outdoor porch. We were sat on a table on the sand which was ok but if you have heels or nice shoes on I would be warned. The clam chowder was in a large but shallow bowl which made it a good started. The swordfish was good, a very fishy taste. I liked the sauce and there were still chunks of pineapple in the side sauce which gave it extra texture. The tortillas were a serve like something you would get at the store with no flavor and

This review is ONLY for the bars, specifically, the Bayview bar and the Veranda:
The food and drinks here are great! The Bayview bar is a really cute hidden spot to have drinks and look out at the water. The Veranda is a good spot for a mid-day snack, and the lobster nachos don't disappoint. The only down side is they're pricy, but hey, what isn't, if it's any good?
