Please plan to arrive at our office 20 minutes prior to your appointment time to complete necessary paperwork. You must bring your completed New Patient Packet that was mailed to you to your appointment. Failing to do so will result in your appointment being rescheduled. Please make sure we know if this is a workers compensation claim or a motor vehicle accident.
If you are having IV sedation, no food or drink for at least 5 hours before your check-in time. Otherwise, it is okay to eat. It is also okay to have pain medication and high blood pressure medication with a small amount of water. You will need to have STOPPED any of the following medication(s) 7 days prior to your procedure: this list is as comprehensive as possible, but not exclusive.
This procedure can help relieve low back and leg pain by reducing inflammation (swelling and irritation). An injection also can help your doctor diagnose the source of your pain by numbing certain areas of your back. Where you are injected depends on the goal of the injection. A sympathetic nerve block is a special test.

Simply atrocious. My wife went to Jayaram when referred by her Providence GP for her post-cancer chronic pain. The whole process was atrocious. There was no solid communication, merely threats and incomplete information. They offered NO solutions, merely a demand that she stop her medications with no strategy for keeping her out of pain. They treated her like a criminal and the base assumption that everyone coming in was an addict rather than someone trying to manage pain. He gave us simply wrong and dangerous information. Then he denied ever having told us what we repeated back to him on subsequent

I’ve been a long time patient of this clinic and Dr. Kaur. I appreciate how they have helped me over the years not just in my pain management but with navigating the insurance/prescription issues. They are problem solvers on many avenues. Dr. Kaur is always pleasant and down to earth. Staff greets you every time with a friendly attitude.

Dr. Kaur is the best understanding Dr. ever. After 8 years I did get dismissed for a drug in my Mouth test that I did NOT do. My Dr. even went to stick up for me but she let me go. God I cried for the first month because she was the best Dr ever. If your looking for a great Dr this is the place to go. I will miss her.

I was an employee here and had a very good experience. The staff is kind, professional, and friendly. All the staff treat their patients extremely well and care so much about each patient. I found it to be a really nice place to work and the patients I spoke to were very happy with the care they were provided.

I worked here a couple years ago and had a great experience. Staff is very kind a professional. They truly care about their patients. Sometimes there is high turnover because MA’s are often going to nursing school to further their careers, which is think is wonderful that they encourage. The patients I spoke to had very good experiences here and were always treated very fairly. The office does have rules as any pain clinic is required to and should have. Highly recommend.

For over 15 years I have been a patient and devoted follower of Dr Navnit Kaur and the staff of Pain Management Consultants. It all began as a hopeful random referral. Now I can only think how lucky I am to have had this health care opportunity. Dr Kaur and staff have my complete confidence and trust. Their unwavering care and sincere kindness have made a true difference in the quality of my life.

After being referred to Pain Management Consultants I went online and checked out their reviews. My first thought was, ‘I’m not going there!’. The problem was, nobody else could see me and do anything about my pain without my having to wait 5 weeks or more. So I went and I am glad I did. I got the best treatment and service from everybody there. It was the complete opposite of what all those other reviewers had led me to believe. So much so that after my second visit, I went back through my browser history just to make sure that I had checked out the right place. I had and I can’t figure

I was with Pain Management for 2+ years (specifically with Dr. Jayaram) and seemed to like the office staff. Although, I seemed to get a new staff member at every appointment. There seemed to be a huge turnover which tells me that the doctors don't now how to run a practice. Which brings me to this subject, I had done everything that the doctors asked, always made my appointments, passed UA's, paid my bills and did what was asked of me per the contract that I had signed. I met Becky on my first ablation procedure and fell in love. She was so helpful and professional. With that being said, after

My experience with Pain Management Consultant was as poor an experience I believe someone could ever have.
I was required to have my personal care physician fax the referral 4 times and when Becky finally called me to let me know she got all 4 faxed referrals, she was too busy to schedule the initial appointment and called back 4 days later.
The first appt went well, and I waited 10 days without a call back after leaving messages on day 8 & 9. I stopped by their Office on day 10 and could not get an update.
I then called my medical provider Providence Health.
They informed me that no decision

I was a patient of Dr. Jayaram for over two years. I was friendly towards the entire staff. Every visit I brought the staff treats. Cookies, cupcakes or even ice cream sandwiches in the summer time. I've bought gifts for a few of the staff as well. I have had many procedures done throughout the time I was his patient. The last two procedures I had were very painful and took a long time to heal. I decided to have no further procedures done.
Over the past two years, my insurance has paid for most of the costs of these procedures with the exception of $1.50 here or $5.00 here. All my procedures

I should have written this review a decade ago but never got around to it. I have used Pain Management 3 times in the last 12 years for relief of temporary pain. My first introduction to Ashok Jayaram, MD was just over 10 years ago when I had a serious accident with a Radial Arm saw and cut my left hand (Primary hand) in half and loosing 2 of my fingers. After a 8 1/2 hour surgery they had my hand back together. Over the next 2 years I had 13 additional surgeries. The surgeon was good about treating the pain resulting from the surgery but did nothing to help my suffering from the nerve damage

It actually takes a lot for me write a negative review. Typical to many Oregon pain management clinics, they do not accept Oregon Health Plan (OHP), particularly Providence Medicaid and they also do not accept cash pay. Providence insurance is just awful for any kind of specialty care because you're pretty much stuck with 'in-network' only and the scope of modalities is limited.
NOTE: There is a lot of mis-information going around that pain management clinics will not prescribe medications or even alternative pain management procedures like epidurals, cortisone injections ... etc

I've seen Dr Navnit Kaur for pain following a serious auto accident for over 20 years.
While the office does experience frequent turn overs in front office personnel the doctors themselves are a constant.
I received spinal epidurals a couple of times a year due to sciatica caused by the accident. Without these shots I could not function normally. They helped me walk, enable me to sit in a car on a road trip and climb stairs.
Recently I'd begun getting injections into my right patella area, following a broken tibia and surgery. My knee aches a lot and arthritis in it has been diagnosed

My initial experience was a positive one. The physician assistant Nadine was the most helpful person in my pain condition. However I had some insurance limitations so procedures were sort of off the table. I went through a couple of medication switches and after about the third one I was suddenly told very abruptly that I can no longer be treated by them. They refused to taper me off of opioid pain medication that I've been on for over three years. This sort of mistreatment should be considered malpractice. Horrible horrible clinic.

I've had intense leg/sciatic pain for close to 3 years now. I was told to see a pain management specialist last year and I had high hopes. I had been going here for 6 months and in that time I had two injections and they tried two different medications. One of which was Cymbalta. My appointment was with Nadine and she was always the nicest person there. I asked her if I've reached the end of my options and she said, "Of course not, there are still several other options for you, you're young." She said the Cymbalta was supposed to help with pain but the two times I took it made me irrationally angry

I actually like Dr Kaur, and have had good experiences with her, but the office staff and medical assistants are horrendous!!
When I first started going there several years ago, the whole office was better, then something happened and the turnover has been crazy. When you call, they answer with "Pain Management, can you hold?" CLICK, you're on hold!! Just rude in my opinion. If you're going to immediately put someone on hold, you should say "please hold."
Their prescription refill policy states that "your prescription will be ready on the third business day," but I've not had mine actually be
