I have lived in the apartment for about 6 months now and so far it's not too bad. If you want to be greeted with a smile everyday, this may not be the best place for you because some of the staff comes off a little hostile. But with time they usually warm up to you.
The only issue I had was with maintenance entering my apartment unannounced. It was extremely uncomfortable to come home from classes to see a man in my bedroom checking the windows. Other than that, it's overall not a bad spot to live.
Ps... if you need to print anything in the business center, it's almost always

If it wasnt because this location was very convinient I wouldve moved out a long time ago. Ive been a loyal tenant for 4 years, never paid rent late, quiet neighbor, worked and came home. About a couple a months back they started to do promotions for first time tenants and basically they let any and everyone live here. Through my 4 years I've had about 3 different neighbors next to me until I got hit with the worst of them all. Young kids, that all they do is fight, punch walls, throw glass onto the wall and SMOKE WEED. Never in my life have I inhale soo much weed everytime I am in my apartment

I've lived in various settings throughout the world, and PPT is there with the best. The apartments are beautiful, and amenities such as the gym, tennis courts, garden, and pool are outstanding. All apartments are well-maintained and continuously updated. The building and grounds, including the laundry facilities, are very clean. Ms. Kaye runs a tight ship and has created a lovely team of people from the concierge staff to office managers and the maintenance folks; she even holds resident appreciation events, which are fun. When issues arise in any unit, work orders are completed swiftly.

I'm surprised at the low star rating, but I'm a new tenant, so maybe my opinion of the apartment complex will change as time goes by.
The Good:
We have a one bedroom unit, which was recently renovated. All the appliances are new: microwave, refrigerator, dishwasher. The cabinets are nice wood cabinets. The countertop is decent hard top and the tiles in the kitchen are decent. The appliances aside, I would say the kitchen furnishings are a decent B grade. Definitely several steps up from he older apartments I've lived in in the past, though not at the true luxury apartment level

MISTAKES. MISTAKES. MISTAKES.
I would like to start my review by saying: I was not evicted or forced to move out of Park Place. I never paid my rent late and was always on good terms with the management. That being said, I would caution anyone looking for a Hartford apartment to search around before choosing Park Place. I moved to CT from Illinois. Being new to the area and not knowing much about Hartford, it was an easy accessible choice. There are better options (location, size) for the price you pay.

I have lived at Park Place Towers for over 3 years now. My experience has been okay, but definitely has improved since I moved in. As of right now, the PPT is the best value in Hartford considering location and amenities.
For the longest time the front desk staff was horrible, with the exception of a few people. Within the last year, some of the rude front desk staff have been replaced (which is a blessing). I have to commend Juliette, Irvin, Erika, and Ms. Pat for always being so professional and kind. Kay, who is the property manager is wonderful. She is always so sweet and very understanding

I've had a few friends who've lived here and I've visited them often. One friend liked it because of the price ($1100/ month) for a 2 bedroom. Be also likes the amenities the building offers like the gym, pool, tennis courts and parking garage. On that topic, it's not in the greatest part of town, but the building has security and is maintained pretty well. The apartments themselves are if average size. Some have a view and others don't. Once in a while, the AC breaks and being 20 floors up when that happens isn't cool (I made a pun)! In the immediate area, it&apos

I'm surprised to see there are no positive reviews. I have been living in a penthouse apt for 4 years. The penthouse apt is essentially a regular apt with a balcony. the apt is a good size. However the kitchen is cramped. My apt is very quiet since I have a corner apt with a great view of downtown. I havent had any problems with management. There are times when the concierge staff at the front desk can be rude, but it really depends on the individual. I chose this apt mainly because of its location. I can easily access most parts of the greater hartford area in less than 20 mins.

Please avoid this place like the plague - the building management has a downright adversarial relationship with their tenants and lacks any business integrity.
The building management has carved out a unique designation which I'll define as hostilely incompetent. They take forever to meet requests, require constant reminders to fulfill promises, and then give you a nasty attitude when asked to do work.
Calling them unprofessional and unethical would be paying them a compliment considering their treatment of tenants and guests. Your money is better spent donating to the fund to cure polio

My wife and I moved into Park Place Towers during the late summer of 2012. We have been serially harassed by security guards as if we were criminals and intruders. The epitome of this harassment occurred recently when a security guard tried to rip my food delivery out of my hands, because she did not immediately recognize me. She tore the plastic and crumpled the paper bag as a result of her aggression. She then lied to other staff that I was the one misbehaving, leading one of the staff members to threaten me with physical violence. The delivery guy stayed at the apartment lobby fully of his
