It’s beautiful when you see it.. but after a month of living you’ll regret it. They sell you by saying the brick is a big factor with noise blockage and you can’t hear anything! You CAN hear a pin drop in this place & your neighbors will keep you up until early hours of the morning. Please save yourself the trouble and your money, by not living here. When it snows you have no place to move your car when they need to “plow” and they wait until after it snows to even put down sand or salt. The small dumpster is always full and you have to walk very far to throw it all away if there’s

I was the first tenant at Capitol Lofts after they finished their renovation in the beginning of 2017. I lived there for two years and am moving out because I am moving out of Connecticut.
Pros:
-a beautiful space, simply put. The units and common spaces are newly renovated and the 14ft high ceilings are a great style.
-location. The Capitol ave area is starting to have new life breathed into it. Check out Story & Soil and Bahn Meee across the street.
-private parking. At about $60 a month. No covered parking.
-responsive staff. In my two years I never had an trouble getting ahold of someone

No clue how anyone gets a room here, as the front office/ property manager is 100% non-existent.
I’ve called, left voicemails, never had a single one returned, I’ve walked in, gone through a realtor. No one answers any inquiries.
I simply want a walk through, and see which units are available. Standard stuff.
If it’s this hard for me to TRY to give them my money, I don’t even want to think about how hard it would be to get ahold of someone to fix any issues within the apartment.
