Our signature cake! White and chocolate cake filled with venetian creme and chocolate ganache. Garnished with white and dark Swiss chocolate curls. White cake with hazelnut mousse, chocolate ganache, and venetian creme covered in whipped cream topped with chocolate curls. White cake with lemon kist filling and lemon mousse, covered with white whipped cream & gum paste flowers.

This shop is what I would call a classic American baking shop. Their selection includes cakes, donuts, bear claws, cakes (lots of cakes), pies, cookies, muffins, cupcakes, danish, king cake, coffee cake, cheese cake, coffee and tea. I also saw a variety of desserts but I do but recall all of them. My husband had a bear claw and probably it was a grizzly bear claw because it was huge and delicious. We order a few pastries and all were tasty. I had tea, as they offer lots of options. The place was full of customers all the time that we were there. They have an indoor sitting area with couches. I am a native NY'er that has been out of NY since the end of 2005..I lived in Texas for 13 years before moving to NC 3 years ago..I have NOT been able to find a bakery that comes close to what I'm accustomed to in NY and from my family..that was until I stopped here..this bakery is amazing!!! I highly recommend!! From the super nice man behind the counter to the exceptional cakes/muffins..I live an hour away and will definitely make the trip often..the cake slice i had was soooo soft and tasty..thank you for such a wonderful experience!!

I ran into this place by accident a few months ago. Man, I am so thankful I am. Literally have tried every single cookie, muffin and scone.Absolutely delicious. Cute ma and pa store. Every time I go in I chat with the owners or workers, super friendly people.
Today was a rough day so I went in to get a brownie cookie. The male owner told me I had some will power just getting one cookie. I told it was a day and need my brownie cookie fix. I got to my car and he put another one of my favorite cookies (chocolate chip) in my bag. This is why I love these local bakeries.

What a great stop! They make some delicious treats. Everything was way bigger than I had anticipated and oh so delicious. The staff is friendly and accommodating. But the baked goods are just to die for. I have slowly tried almost everything they offer and I can't complain about any of it. My absolute favorite is the crescent cookie followed closely by the coconut creme donut. But pick whatever you want because there is no wrong choice.

Oh my word. We will be coming back here regularly and for every holiday in the future! The chocolate cake was *chef's kiss* and the eclair was literally one of the best things I've ever had in my life. Can't wait to try more! The atmosphere and the service were both very fun and pleasant. We just loved this place!

It was my birthday and I needed chocolate cake. In between appointments I found this shop. I decided on a chocolate cake with mocha mousse and ganache. The cake was perfect - chocolate-y yet not too sweet. The ganache didn't have much flavor, but it really didn't matter much. The guy who waited on me was pleasant and made sure I knew he included a fork. Good thing since I aaa devouring it before my next appointment. I would definitely recommend and go back.

I recently had a gender reveal cake made Easter weekend and they did a phenomenal job!
Loretta was so kind and helpful to me over the phone in choosing cake flavors. We ended up going with the Chocolate Cookie cake which was not only beautifully decorated but delicious! The frosting was not too sweet, our family enjoyed the cookies on top, and the inside which was the most important part.. had the gender color, which they used a blue colored venetian creme mousse with a thin layer of chocolate mouse..it was so good..my mouth is watering just typing this

I come here at least once a month, I would go every weekend if it weren't so far from me. But every time I go, I always get a donut, a filled donut and some Danish. And they're always so good, so big and every bite it amazing.
The owners and everyone working there are also very friendly and helpful. I would definitely say that it's worth a visit or 10.

Just picked up some desserts for my boss and I am kicking myself for never coming here sooner! They only had one sticky bun left but i wasn't shocked they were sold out. Everything looked amazing and I'm actually happy since I got to get more variety. The man working at the front was SO nice. The shop was so clean and smelled so amazing. The prices were on point and the portions are huge. I will absolutely be coming back here!

I came by the store in advance to order a birthday cake for my friend. I was unable to pick up the the so she had to go get it. The cake was Very dense and dry. It looks like a five-year-old wrote on the cake very sloppy and unprofessional. I would never recommend this bakery to anyone. Totally ruined my friend's special day!

The workers were all wearing masks and gloves and everything appeared spotless.
The tres leches cake was so good! They only had one left at this late hour and I snagged it. I only got one bite in this household of teens, but it was enough to let me know it was some of the best I've had.
The doughnut was a little close to being stale, which is understandable given my late arrival. It was still very much fine, but not "hot and now

In my opinion, a great donut is hard to come by in the Huntersville area. When I realized that The Bakery Shoppe sold donuts, we stopped by to see what they had. We were there in the late afternoon so there weren't too many to choose from. I chose the glazed with the white icing. It was delicious and fresh even though it had been made in the morning. We asked about the apple fritters and the cinnamon rolls. We were told that they sell out early but we could pre-order them and pick them up in the morning.
