He acquired and ran Famous Pizza in Springvale, ME for 16 years before he picked up and moved to Wells as Home Town Pizza in 2018. HTP can be described as a family oriented restaurant serving (what Red calls) Greek-Italian-French-styled pizza. But it doesn't stop there, the sandwich collection, pasta, and appetizers are all made to order, served hot, and will leave you satisfied.

The person taking the orders was easily one of the coldest, rudest people I've purchased from in a very long time. The woman making the sandwiches just kind of pushed the (torn) bag at me and walked away, and the food was extremely basic and frustratingly slow to receive. (blt and Italian grinder). Appreciate that they're open in the off season, but was a very off-putting experience.
Judging from the reviews here (wish we'd checked those first) they don't care about the reviews any more than the way they treat customers.

**BEWARE OF RUDE OWNER** I probably should've read the reviews before coming to this place, my husband got the Italian Grinder and I got the chicken cutlet grinder and they were both just OK. However, the owner the old man who works at the front counter really needs to work on his customer service and probably should've left His attitude back in Massachusetts. He was extremely rude very pushy and we will not be coming back here. The place could use some help as in a new front counter person.

Stopped in for a couple of sandwiches. Guy behind counter (owner maybe) was not at all friendly. Made me feel like I was an imposition being there. I ordered sandwiches, asked for a condiment on the side and was told he didn't have anything to put it in for "on the side". Are you kidding me! He couldn't have wrapped it in foil or something. I ask for black olives, they don't have them. Isn't this a pizza and sub shop??I tell him the sandwiches are uncooked and dry (was getting them for much later that night). Out they come toasted. I completely understand that finding help is difficult right now but the red bearded guy needs an attitude adjustment. He was so incredibly rude to people in the restaurant and on the phone. He even rolled his eyes at me when I asked about dressing for my salad. The pizza wasn’t bad…not the best but eatable. Might I suggest a nice antidepressant, it might be helpful.

OWNER PLEASE READ YOUR REVIEWS! I stopped here on vacation a few days ago and I am still disturbed and completely blown away by the unbelieveable lack of customer service by the owner of this establishment. Before writing this review, I noticed that there are MANY others that have had the same poor experience. So much so, that for this business to survive, there needs to be a drastic change. Picture is $42.00, two small Greek salads, two small sides. Guy taking orders had bad attitude abrupt speaking and a major pet peeve of mine answered the phone while I was ready to order. Business is right in front why on Earth do you answer the phone.
Back to the food. Salads were small but enough, two slices of tomato, two tablespoons of feta, some onion and green pepper plus canned olives which at least were pitted.
I suspect the side orders were Tyson frozen appetizers. Neither was bad but neither was good and for what I paid I expected

Worst pizza I’ve ever had, hands down! I could make better food with my eyes closed. My 5 year old makes better pizza! I’m shocked they are still in business. Probably the tourists that don’t know any better. If it was just locals, they wouldn’t have lasted a month! Only went there once and it was a huge mistake! Seacoast Pizza is the best in the area!

The guy who took my order acted like he was doing you a personal favor by taking our order. The pizza itself wasn't good. Sauce was a strange flavor, not good at all. He can certainly use some pointers on how to make a better product. To be perfectly honest, you're better off getting a cheap frozen pizza at the grocery store and putting on your own toppings.

Stay away from this poor excuse of a business! Refused to give feta cheese on the side for their Greek salad so none was going to be put on, yet we were still going to be charged for the full Greek salad. After asking several times if they could just put it in a small container on the side, they refused. Called back within one minute to cancel our order (which we didn't have to do - could have just not showed up). Instead of trying to fix the customer issue, my husband was called an "assh#$@e" and hung up on! We made another call right back - there is a reason why that crappy business

Highly disappointed. Ordered large chicken tender, large buffalo chicken tender and a large mozzarella stick. Food was delicious but extremely small portions for over $30 cost. The order of chicken tenders only came with 4 chicken tenders. The buffalo came with 6 and the mozzarella sticks 6. Id expect that portion for a small size or child's plate, literally a snack not enough to be a meal at all. For the price there definitely should have been a larger portion. Definitely would have been at other local places!! If you want good business then you probably should give more of a portion and

The steak and cheese sub was not even grilled it was like boiled or microwaved. This place needs to step it up. We literally threw out the chicken bomb sub along with the steak and cheese. We chose instead to share a small cheeze pizza that we bought for our children. Thank god they are 5 year old girls and were not hungry. Hopefully this place makes some serious changes. It gets one star because it was kept clean otherwise if zero stars was possible thats what it would get.

I rarely write reviews. I just had to today. We went here as the other places around had 1.5 hour wait for a pie. Now, I know why there was no wait here. Nearly 30 bucks for a pizza. My youngest said, "that pizza wasn't very good". After eating a slice. He's never complained about a pizza in his life! I've had frozen pizza that was better. Sorry fella's. Your pizza is 1/10.

Ugh! Due to visiting on vacay and not realizing every decent establishment would be stacked up with waiting for hours, we found ourselves here. With no line, it's not surprising. The shop was lacking air conditioning in July so a pleasant dining atmosphere was not available. The food was mediocre at best. The burgers were cooked but still had a raw-frozen taste you couldn't quite identify. The French fries were the best part of the meal and they were not homemade so that isn't saying much. The cost was outrageous for bad food. We would have done better at the local minute market

Terrible bland pizza, tastes like store bought frozen pizza. The service is exceptionally horrible. I stood waiting for a solid 3 minutes while being stared at by three employees. When the person finally came up to me, I wasnt greeted, and he was extremely rude. The phone rang. He didn't say anything to me, and just picked the phone up and talked to whoever was ordering. Food is plain and boring and employees are rude. Save yourself from overpriced food and just go to Dominoes lol

At first I was speechless - then I said 'Yes I have but I would like to know what you offer for topping' - He then quickly and rudely started rattling off saying
"WE GOT THE USUAL - PEPPERONI - SAUSAGE - PEPPERS YA KNOW" - At that point obviously he didn't care about having me for a customer - I said 'Sorry to bother you" and hung up -
