I am an art therapist, mental health counselor, adjunct professor, and fellow traveler on the ascent. I am committed to doing my own inner work while supporting others in doing theirs so that I can operate from a place of curiosity, compassion, and cultural humility. I believe in authentic, creative connection, deep listening, and honest reflection.

I believe that you are enough, just as you are. I believe that people need people and that we weren't meant to navigate this journey alone. By serving as your witness and companion, our process will be one that is holistic and collaborative as we journey inward toward a destination of acceptance, growth, and compassionate understanding.
Services
In my work with youth, I seek to provide a space where they feel seen and heard, and can tell their story. I use art therapy, mindfulness, and play approaches to promote resilience in my younger clients, help them develop a positive self identity, increase self-awareness and self-regulation, build confidence and interpersonal skills, and challenge negative patterns.
Consultation calls are always free, and take around 15 minutes. They're an opportunity for us to chat for a few minutes before you decide to schedule an intake session. I'll ask you a little about what you're looking for, and you will be able to ask me any questions you might have. From there, you can take some time to think about it or we can put something on the calendar!

In the time we have worked together, she has helped me transform from a person who felt very negative about her situation and could never appreciate the present moment to creating a strength out of being present. Alex has also helped me learn to trust my intuition, find confidence, and bring a great deal of compassion into my life where before I set unfair expectations for myself. In every
