I was not impressed. Both the drinks and foods were very okay.

I rather to go to cafe Borrone in Menlo Park.

The food quality was so so. Service was good. Beverages were not as good as advertised. Too many people eating in the same room, no physical distances.

Love how they have all the dishes on display, but is not helpful when it comes to ordering, as everything looks so delicious!!! I also loved their coffee. This place is open seating, so you order first, and take a number. It gets crowded on the weekend, but the service is also pretty quick. We had a wonderful brunch experience here!

Place is in a nice location, interior is nice, staff is welcoming and friendly but the food was ok. I got the Croque Madame and matcha latte. Both were ok. The matcha latte tasted just like milk, there were no matcha flavor so I asked for simple syrup. However, I'd like to go back and try other things on their menu.

Went here to grab brunch! The food was good, but nothing too special.
We ordered the Arcadian Grilled Chicken Salad and the Farmer’s Salad. I thought the grilled chicken was nicely marinated and ingredients were fresh. I thought that the salad’s were pricy for how much was given.
Otherwise, the place had nice decor and plenty of seating.

Such an cute cafe in San Mateo! I was looking for brunch options in the area and everything looked so good here! They have spacious indoor seating and outdoor seating too. The restaurant is beautiful and I love the ambiance.

I had the Lecso with Poached Egg since it's something I never had before. I'm up for a stew for breakfast! It's a tomato based stew so it does have a strong tomato flavor and it had a bunch of sausages. The bread it came with was so crunchy and perfect. I'm always a sucker for good bread! My boyfriend got the Smoked Salmon Avocado Toast and everything

We came here for a brunch! The decor of the place is super cute, with mismatched chairs and cute lights. They were playing Charlie Chaplin on a projector which was charmingly. All their dishes look beautiful.

I got the croque monsieur, which I wasn't the biggest fan of. It was cold and not really melted together. The bread was barely toasted and the cheese wasn't melted and the ham was cold.

My cousin got the biscuits and gravy and was disappointed with the biscuits as they seemed more like English muffins.

We also tried the lesco with toast and it was really good! Amazing roast

The quiche was really good! There was a higher cheese to egg ratio in the quiche, which made it more flavorful that an average quiche.
Avocado toast was good too. The spread/sauce was very special.
I didn't really like the omelet because there was too much oil.

We went for Saturday brunch around 10:45 , not much line. We had macchiato and cappuccino in coffee section.
Smoked salmon and avocado on a croissant, foreigners special. Smoked salmon was with boiled egg, cucumbers, tomatoes and some dressing. It was delicious. My husband loved his eggs and potatoes as well.
Coffee was really good. We are fairly particular about our coffee and this place doesn’t disappoint.
Best part is they display their dishes so easy to pick. They seem to have quiche and some pastries as well. We will visit again.

Loved this place and food. We stayed in San Mateo to avoid craziness to visit to SF. I did have a breakfast there with my husband on my Birthday.
I ordered Healthy Start and my hubby ordered Avo toast. We also shared latte flight.

Outside seating with our dogs make me happy and enjoyed meal too.

Nice coffee/brunch spot that we were able to check out in downtown San Mateo. Came here on a Sunday and we’re glad we arrived early because after 11 is when it really got busy. Definitely will need to come back since there is a lot left on the menu to check out and we liked what we were able to eat during our first visit there.

Went here for brunch with friends on a Saturday. We ordered our food and sat at a table. The ambience and the decorations was really enjoyable.
The spinach and mushroom quiche was terrific. I'm usually a little careful with quiche because of the strong egg smell, but it was cooked to perfection here. I enjoyed every bite of it
The french toast and tomato mozzarella avocado toast were fresh and tasted great as well.
The latte flight with 4 flavors - turmeric, Ube, matcha and beets was really interesting as well. With the turmeric, make sure to stir before you take a sip. The flavors were mild

Open for dinner! Highly recommend the artichokes and crispy rice balls for appetizers. The tender artichoke comes prepared standing upright perfectly smothered in a lemon-caper butter sauce. For the mains, steak with crispy potatoes and a delicious seared sea bass, moist with a crispy skin. Chocolate molten lava cake to finish off a wonderful dining experience. The waitstaff gets 5 stars as well for their attentiveness and professionalism.

Passed byForeigner Cafe on a weekend morning and made a decent cup of latte. Looks like a pretty cozy spot for breakfast/lunch, they offer quite an impressive food menu and the displays at the counter look delicious. Maybe I should come back one day and give their food a try.

Foreigner was on my list of brunch places to visit for quite some time now. We came on a weekend afternoon with plenty of seats outdoors. The place has cute interior featuring a wall of artsy clocks, I am guessing representing time zones from around the world, even the order number card is a laminated postcard with clocks. Really love these small details that give the place more character. We came in with really high expectation because of the photos others have posted, but feel like Foreigner missed the bar by a bit, overall still a good brunch place.

Beautiful decorations, pretty plates. It's pity they don't have enough spaces.
