We serve handcrafted sandwiches, salads, coffee, matcha drinks, boba & housemade baked goods. We specialize in matcha baked goods and drinks made with Organic Ceremonial Uji Matcha. Our drinks are made with high quality teas & fruit, not powder. In addition, we will offer catering services for corporate meetings and parties in Burlingame, San Francisco, and other parts of the bay area.

My family and I were in the area while my dad got his treatments done at UCSF and I was surprised by how good this little cafe was. It's located in a business like building and it's very small and adorable. They only allow 2 people at a time in the cafe since it's so small. Okay ordered some sandwiches, boba drinks, and some macaroons. The food was really really good and their service was wonderful. Definitely a good spot for some good comfort food!

What a hidden gem! Tried the mango match latte and the chicken sandwich. The drink is very fruity (but a little bit sweet), the sandwich is crunchy outside but juicy inside! Loved both items! Also got a free macaron from the yelp checkin! It is huge compares to the ones from French bakery, and quite sweet per my taste. Will probably just stick with the drink and the sandwich sections for now :)

We wanted something substantial after our bike ride at Sawyer Camp trail. This place had great reviews on Yelp and it was also on our way back home.
I ordered 3 sandwiches: BLTA, Turkey with pesto, and ultimate club and 2 boba drinks: Thai ice, and matcha brown sugar. All fresh veggies and no skimping on fillers.
2 lovely ladies behind the counter. All very cute setup inside a medical building.

Mmmm-matcha strawberry mochi bites are amazinggg. The soft, yummy mochi bites just warm you up with happy goodness and almost taste as if it's melting exquisitely in your mouth. The texture and flavor are so good! I haven't gotten the chance to try anything else from this cafe, but the mochi bites alone are worth trying this place.
The service was decent. Nothing that really stood out, but nothing bad. The cafe is in an isolated and quiet area, so it's easy to miss unless you're looking for it. The parking is a row in a one-way, easy enough to park.

I had La Matcha Café's catered lunches, recently. The turkey pesto sandwich boxed lunch came with a house-made chocolate chip cookie and mixed green salad. Everything was delicious and fresh. I especially liked their housemade chocolate chip cookie. I also had a passion for mixed fruit tea with some boba. The drink was very refreshing and had a good amount of boba. Next time when I'm in the area, I'll order some takeout. I'm looking at their menu now and I see quite a lot of boba drinks that I would like to try next time. Also, I would like to try their pulled pork sandwich

Nobody loves a mochi muffin and iced matcha latte more than me and this place serves both! Thank you to the ladies who served me with a smile even though I showed up after closing time. The warm blueberry and strawberry mochi muffins were fabulous. And the iced matcha with strawberry purée was satisfying. I'd love to go back and checkout their sandwiches.

La Matcha Cafe is located inside an office building on the lower level. I love how they left a white stand outside the building to direct you on where the cafe is located. The cafe is literally few steps from the entrance of the building.

Thank you to Vicky and her kind & talented team! The baked goods (matcha mochi strawberry muffins are my favorite, etc), Thai iced teas, and matcha drinks are so delicious and very fresh. I’ll have to try the macarons next. They look so good! The sandwiches are amazing too! They hand make everything daily from scratch, personalize your order, and go out of their way to make sure it is correct. Besides being tucked away in a giant office building, everything about La Matcha cafe is great! I've never had any issues finding parking (plenty of 2 hour parking available at the main street) and it's just a few steps away to their front door.
I've been here several times. I've eaten in before (way before SIP) and bought a bunch of stuff to go. But my all time favorite thing to get here is their Strawberry Matcha Latte. I wouldn't call myself a Boba connoisseur but I do frequent several Boba shops regularly, and I have to say their strawberry matcha latte is better than

My family and I love La Matcha Cafe! It’s a cute little cafe on the lower level of a medical Building. Parking has never been an issue for us.
Some of our favorites are the baked goods- Macarons: hands down the best I’ve ever had- big, perfect chewy consistency and yummy flavors; Banana but bread: moist and flavorful- best eaten warmed up
We’ve also tried a few sandwiches before and they are delicious. My husband loves their strawberry matcha latte.
I’ve ordered desserts for parties and they are always a hit.

The food is exquisite, I loved the soups and salads with the Coffee's and tea's with pearls. Everything is delicious. I also tried these cookies that were homemade and so yummy. They came in many colors beige, pink and tasted like sugar cookies but a lot more different, than any other cafe I have tried. I truly recommend this place, and make sure you get there before 3pm during lunch hours, or else they close sooner.

Hole in the wall little cafe with cute interior design. Not to mention food and drinks are super delicious as well. It lays under Peninsula Professional Center. The place may be hard to locate but looking for the name where it lays will be easier for you to find.
We had the ultimately sandwich and passion fruit mix which was very very refreshing.Both tasted satisfying.
It is family owned and they have great customer service. The place is very clean and plenty of parking in the garage and around the area in general. A definitely must try.

The matcha strawberry mochi muffin was so delicious and warm !!
They also have a regular matcha muffin, matcha brownie, among other matcha goodies. I will say that the matcha flavor is not incredibly strong like other places I've been to... I like that strong, bitter matcha flavor. That would be the only reason why it's not a 5 star from me.
For their drinks, I've tried the strawberry matcha latte with boba reminiscent of the Boba Guys' version.

I heard some small buzz about this cafe as I was yelping around the Burlingame and Millbrae area and decided to actively come to try it. It's on the first floor of this big Professional Center building. Normally little cafe/delis like these are just passable and accessible serving those that work in the building, but La Matcha has been actively trying to lure outside customers in as well with signs outside.
Parking is pretty easy--there is plenty of 2 hour parking right outside
