As a pet owner himself, Dr. Mike Bunnell recognized that one of the best feelings in the world was watching your own sick or injured pet become well again. He wanted to be the one who could make that happen. That's why he decided to become a veterinarian! Now, Dr. Bunnell has enjoyed more than 10 wonderful years as a licensed veterinarian helping pets and their owners to live happier, healthier lives.
At Fayetteville Veterinary Hospital, keeping your pet happy and healthy isn't just our job. It's our passion. In fact, it is your companion's lifelong wellbeing that has inspired us to develop our comprehensive system of care. We want to hear from you! Our goal is to consistently deliver the best available patient care and exceptional client service, and your valuable feedback helps us to both achieve that goal and to communicate the value of our services to others. Please also consider leaving feedback about your experience here so that others may learn more about the quality of our care.
Laser therapy is a non-invasive treatment option that uses the power of light to stimulate the body's natural healing and pain control response. Through this innovative technology, your animal family member can enjoy decreased pain, enhanced mobility and shorter recovery periods. It can be used as a standalone therapy or as part of a more comprehensive treatment strategy.
As loving pet parents, we want our animal companions by our side for as many years as possible. At Fayetteville Veterinary Hospital, we believe the best way to ensure this happens is by making a commitment to their ongoing wellness. By bringing your pet in for regular checkups, you'll help protect him or her from many of the common ailments that can affect companion animals.

My family and I just moved to the area recently, and we are getting our dog registered and up to date with the State. I called around to a few different offices, and not much response in getting a new patient in. I called and spoke to someone on the phone here, and they were more than willing to help and get my buddy into the clinic ASAP. When we arrived, we were welcomed by a caring and happy staff, as well as the vet (Dr. Bennett) was very nice and gentle with Donut. He even liked her from what I could tell.
I will be going back, and I feel we have found our forever Vet for our Forever Pup.

I spoke to Olivia to make an appt for a friend’s dog. She was so professional, friendly, caring and extremely helpful. My friend moved to NY from out of state and was in need of an exceptional vetinarian. We were thrilled to get in due to a cancellation. The manager Zach was extremely caring and helpful when I called. No wonder this vetinary hospital received such great reviews. I highly recommend if you are looking for a caring, friendly and reasonably priced veterinary hospital.

We took our dog Olivia to the vet office last night. Her tumor ruptured and she started bleeding. The vet who presented the news to us said Olivia could get emergency surgery or be euthanized. We chose the ladder as our option.
We asked about if she was still muzzled (she was in the first place due to her being nervous and worrying that she might bite). The vet at the time said, yes, she had her muzzle on. We asked her why couldn’t we have the muzzle taken off. The vet said that if my dog bit someone, then they would have to send her head in to be tested for rabies. We felt that was an inappropriate

I moved all 4 of my dogs to Fayetteville Veterinary Hospital after the ridiculous rules and lack of care at my previous Vet facility in Wampsville, NY. Now, Fayetteville Veterinary Hospital takes the time to examine my animal and talk with me in the office. They are the most compassionate and sensitive of any Vets I have yet to encounter in my 45 years of taking animals to Vets. I am 63 and had to retire early so my budget is a huge concern especially with 4 dogs, 2 of whom are very old. They have fair prices which is amazing since they take so much time with my animals and me. Thank you Fayetteville

We recently had to put our rabbit Cinnamon down as she just wouldn't recover from an illness. It was not a decision that was taken lightly and the Dr. B knew that. She was immensely supportive. We just received… a sympathy card in the mail today from the staff. I have never felt more confidence in a vet as I do with this practice nor have I ever received a sympathy card from a vet! We will definitely never be going to any other vet practice but here!

The kindest veterinarian ever. Smart, professional and really takes the time to assess the pet and the problem, if any. The staff are also professional, happy and helpful. These qualities are what you want when seeking the very best for your pet.

The doctors and staff at Fayetteville Veterinary Hospital are AMAZING!! Dr. Bunnell is great with my four-legged babies. I also have nothing but great things to say about Dr. Bennett! We have been going to Fayetteville Vet for almost 20 years now. Dr. Bunnell diagnosed our 13 year old Boston Terrier with Cushing’s Disease and surely contributed to… the comfortable extra year of life we had with her. He is great with my current 3 dogs and my moms dog! He always answers my questions and concerns honestly. The staff always great my fur babies by name and with love! I wouldn’t want

Dr. B is great, dogs liked him! Recently had my English Bulldog neutered and it was ent very well. He’s healing great, staff was great dropping off, picking up and they even called the next day to see how he was. Made it a much less stressful experience. Thank you!! The Fayetteville Veterinary Hospital and staff are wonderful. Dr. Bunnell and staff are friendly, caring and understand that a pet is truly part of your family. The care and compassion that we received when we had to put our 15 year old cat down was more than we could have ever asked for. Dr. Bunnell and staff are accommodating and will work around… your schedule to make sure your pets needs are met. They have been wonderful to our new kittens that had health problems when we adopted them from the shelter. With their help, our new cats will lead a happy and healthy full life. We are very

The first experience was not the best. I made Dr. Bunnell aware of the issue and he was extremely apologetic and made my second experience much better! I feel confident that he knows what he is talking about when it comes to the allergies my dog is experiencing. He isn't pressuring in making you buy all sorts of products that may not help the problem which I definitely appreciate.
