Freddie Dampier is a retired police officer, who served as chief of the City of Alachua's police department for over 13 years. He retired in 1997 and has been providing quality well and water treatment service since.

This well & water treatment company is by far one of the best service companies I have had dealings with in Alachua County over the past 15 years since I moved here.
Living in the Four Lakes area, we are known for high levels of iron-producing bacteria. Freddie & his sons came out and gave us a common sense recommendation to install quality components, limited to what was absolutely necessary, and consider more expensive add-ons later only if needed. After consulting with 2 other companies, it was an easy decision to give Dampier Well & Pump Service our business.
And they didn't let us down!

I highly recommend Dampier Well and Pump Service. Freddie and Chuck are experienced, professional and provide quality work at a reasonable price. While knowing the Dampier name and reputation for years, I called Freddie and Chuck to service our well that had stopped working days before we were to move into our new construction home. He fixed our pump and we asked him to return for additional upgrades. The next time Freddie was out we explained the upgrades we wanted. I called Dampier after wasting time over the past few weeks calling two other companies, where I got no reply. I was thrilled to hear a human voice on the phone! These guys were wonderful! They came out on the SAME DAY, fit into my schedule, and completely replaced my pump in a little over 2 hours! Friendly, trustworthy, and explained everything. Family business, and it shows. Dampier Well and Pump, Great company. They took the time to come out of the woods on a Sunday to fix a minor repair. Couldn't be more satisfied with the repair. Had them come back out and replace the water tank and install a Variable pump. Great company, 100% professional and polite. Honest and respectful, No drama, very straight forward. Highly recommend Dampier Well and Pump services. We won't call anyone else after the work they have performed. Can't say enough about the professionalism and honesty. Thank you again.

NO ONE ELSE I would trust to do quality work than Mr. Freddie Dampier, sons, and his crew! Mr. Freddie is very responsive to our calls for questions, advice, and request for services. He's been there to help with maintenance, repair, and replace! We had used Dampier Well & Pump to install a our water softener system when we first moved into our new home. I called Dampier today to see when someone could come out and take a look at my pump for my well because it had been making clicking noises and recycling for some time. To my surprise he informed me he could come out in a few hours today (same day I called) as he had another home to service in the area. I was at work and he said that was okay that I didn't have to be home. He called me a short time later to tell me the repair was complete and instructed me how to check the air in it in about a week. I greatly appreciate you coming today and taking payment over the phone. I will definitely call

Dampiers is probably the least expensive place around, and do really good work. I have used them several times already. Freddie and sons always seem to be available when i call for help or advice on my well system.
