Shakia "Kia" Batten is a Licensed Massage Therapist. She graduated from the Northern Virginia School of Therapeutic Massage in 2008. She is experienced in Swedish, Deep Tissue, Sports, and Prenatal massage techniques. She is known to be an intuition massage therapist; she only can go as far as your muscles allow me to.
The Artz of Rejuvenation massage is a customized massage focusing on the deepest layers of muscle tissue, tendons, and fascia by applying firm pressure and slow strokes to reach deeper layers of muscle. This session also helps to create freedom of movement by releasing fascial adhesions and chronic muscle contracture.
Shakia has been my family's go-to massage therapist for years and she's the best! I love that she can come to you, nobody wants to get in the car and drive home after a relaxing massage. She comes prepared with all of the necessities for a great massage - massage table, heated blanket, relaxing music, and candles.
Save money by selecting a pre-customized spa package for your spa party or personal spa day! When booking a spa party all participants who choose to create their own custom spa package must select a base service which would be either a 30 minute massage or facial. When booking a spa party a 30% refundable* deposit of the cost of the base service multiplied by the number of party participants is required.

I’ve had deep tissue massage for thirty years. Lots of trauma causes me chronic pain. The first time I had a massage with her, I was stunned. The BEST ever in 30 years. She is the Muscle Whisperer. Shakia is amazing! Used her numerous times. She arrives on time every time and consistently delivers the best 2 hour deep tissue massages I’ve ever had for an extremely fair price. She uses a quality heated massage table that she brings and sets up wherever you’d like within your home. I’ve recommended her to several friends, all of whom have reported positive results. Shakia gave me the best massage experience that I've ever had. She cared about leaving me better than she found me, and really took the time to release tensions throughout my entire body! I booked a personal home massage with Shakia. She was curious, on time, and very professional. I am an athlete and I tend to be very sore. Shakia was able to work out all the soreness while still making the massage pleasurable. She let me know what she was doing and why. She set a very relaxing environment and put me at ease. I walked away very refreshed and exhilarated.
