Combining vinyasa flow with the guided long-held postures of slow flow. Build heat and warm up with some self-guided movement which will lead to steady breath-focused postures. You can expect to be challenged, sweat, and build endurance. This is a great class to begin exploring some balancing postures, twists, and transitions that are found in vinyasa.
When you reach the point in your practice where you feel the need to live yoga rather than simply do yoga, there is teacher training. Teacher training is more than a course for learning how to share your practice with others; it is a chance to immerse yourself in a yogic way of life and to develop lifelong techniques for taking yoga off your mat.

Emily wasn't always a Certified Integrative Nutrition Health Coach and body positive coach. Once a high school teacher, she was injured in a serious auto accident. During her recovery, she began researching and implementing different health and nutrition modalities.

As she became more health-conscious and began to heal and transform her own life, she decided to go back to school to empower others on their health journeys and healing transformations.

This is my favorite place these days. A friend invited me to come with her to yoga and I have been going religiously ever since. Everyone is so kind here, it is comfortable, and as inexperienced as I was they have all always been so helpful.

Love the down to earth, quiet and comfortably dark atmosphere. When I am there, I can concentrate on me alone. It's warm and inviting and the staff is great and helpful . Would not go anywhere else and I live in Grand Blanc.

The very best yoga and instructors I've ever experienced! I've traveled from MIchigan to Florida and Michigan to the Pacific Northwest and have practiced at yoga studios everywhere in between but never have I found a yoga practice as good as Ethos. The technique, the music, the ambience......makes a wonderful, safe place to practice yoga.

I love yoga at ethos!
You will not find a more affordable or supportive yoga studio in Michigan.
Kathryn (the owner) is a great teacher, and students of any level will feel comfortable in the studio.
The first time I practiced there I was blown away by the music... it could have been picked out of my own collection! It really adds to the joy of the class to be surrounded by good music.
