We are an Iyengar Yoga Studio offering daily classes in beautiful downtown Old Norcross. We offer two weekly Chen-style Tai Chi classes, Qigong, Functional Core and Bendi-Buddies Grounded-Kids Yoga. We schedule workshop events with senior yoga and tai chi teachers and offer focus classes year round.

So, if you want to do yoga and you are looking for knowledgeable and well educated teachers, informative instruction, safe classes, a clean environment and wonderful and friendly studio community. You have found us! Our classes are designed to encourage and uplift all who enter our studio space. The foundation of practice is built on alignment and awareness of the body and mind, your spirit will follow.
Masks are optional during class at this time and we limit 12 students In-Studio 7' apart until further notice. Note: Charges may apply. By signing up for this notification service, you agree to pay any and all data charges incurred by receiving an SMS or MMS message from Studio 87 Yoga. Beginning classes at any time throughout the session is not a problem for you or the instructor as the classes are ongoing.
Immerse yourself in a weekend Yoga Workshop or Focus class and elevate your practice and knowledge. We understand that plans occasionally change and unanticipated circumstances sometimes arise. It is therefore necessary that we have consistent refund policies that are fair to you, the studio and the presenter.
Using a credit card to register online using Square will incur a 2.9% plus $.30 convenience fee. For fee free use Zelle donna@studio87yoga.com. In addition to online registration, you may also call us, contact us, or stop by our studio to register. If you miss the start of a session, we will pro rate the session and you will pay only for the weeks that remain.

I’ve been to a number of yoga classes in other places and this class with Donna has been the most helpful with excellent instruction. Donna always asks her students to see if they have any health issues she needs to know about, so she can be sure to help that particular student. I am 80 years old and this class has helped me stay active, challenged me to work on my posture, has helped me get stronger and work with my physical limitations due to surgeries. I find a real friendship caring and bonding between students and teacher. Our Tuesday morning class has become a real community.

I must admit that for many years I was a Yoga skeptic. Much like my attitude about massage therapy, I was of the opinion it might be great for others but was not for me. In September of 2016 I reluctantly signed up for the fall sessions at Studio 87. Was I pleasantly surprised. Not only was our leader, Donna, welcoming, she was obviously very knowledgeable and in touch with the individual needs of her students. I have been a student at Studio 87 for more than 12 years. It has honestly changed my life. I suffered with lower back pain due to scoliosis and spinal stenosis. Donna’s therapeutic approach to Iyengar yoga has almost completely alleviated my pain. Donna is one of the most knowledgeable and dedicated teachers I’ve ever encountered. I have been going to Studio 87 Yoga for about 6 months. When I walked in Donna, the owner asked me about any injuries which I appreciated as I broke my foot and ankle about 8 months prior. She was very warm and welcoming and has a very diverse clientele. This enabled her to modify some poses and exercises for me. She is very knowledgeable about the human body and how it works and is able to modify almost any pose to get the desired result without injury. She has the detail knowledge of human body and has helped her students to gain benefits of yoga, using the correct props. Donna's guidance in yoga practice has helped me get off some strong blood pressure medicines and also helped ease an arthritic hip. I'm grateful to have found Donna, this studio, and the community that has been built around it. Donna is a gifted and extremely knowledgeable teacher with a great sense of humor. No two of her classes are the same and each one is tailored to what is going with her students physically at the time (she asks at the start of every class). Other teachers at this studio are similarly excellent. I have brought both my parents here, my husband, my aunt, and both my daughters. Thank you for all you do, Donna!

I had never done any kind of yoga before coming to this studio. I love my time at Studio 87 Yoga; it is one of the rarer moments during my day that I feel peaceful. The studio is beautiful and inviting. Donna is an excellent instructor and extremely passionate about Iyengar yoga. She always ensures that her students are comfortable and safe while pushing us to do more than we think we can. She is very attentive to each of us. I am very grateful I found this studio and this practice.

This is an amazing yoga studio and I cannot recommend it enough. The owner, Donna, is one of the most caring and knowledgeable teachers I have encountered. I have attended many of her beginner classes and each one is unique and fresh. I have had pain in both of my knees so I tend to be hesitant to do things like yoga but Donna always adjusts my poses to accommodate and help my knees. With her knowledge of the finer points of how the bones, joints, muscles, etc all interact and affect each other she has suggested practices for me to do at home. My knees have improved dramatically. She's the best

I have been taking yoga classes here for about 2 years, and I love this studio! The space itself feels inviting, the community is friendly, the location in downtown Norcross is convenient (free parking!). But most of all, the teaching is fabulous. Donna (studio owner) is very knowledgeable about yoga, affirming in her teaching style, and attentive to individual student needs or health issues.
