In 2009, Michelle and Doug decided that the mortgage industry had lost its allure; they started looking for other industries where they could help people. They realized that nearly 70% of Americans were either overweight or obese and that helping other middle-aged and older Americans to lose weight and get back in shape would be rewarding and challenging.
It works because our Certified Personal Trainers customize the program based on your goals, NOT ours. Our educated and experienced Certified Personal Trainers come to you. We will make the experience fun but effective! We will help you to set and reach realistic goals, set you up with a food journaling system, and perform an assessment every six weeks to make sure that we are on the track to you achieving your goals.
Starting to feel back pain, less flexibility, and upper body pain due to working at your desk or computer all-day. An experienced member of our management team will meet with you to assess your current condition and devise a comprehensive program of exercise and nutritional changes to help you achieve your goals in as little time as possible.
You may be on a whole medicine regimen for the various ailments that you have collected over your life. You take pills for this and pills for that. Weight is probably an issue, joints hurt the minute you get out of bed and you seem to run out of steam pretty quickly. Our family started 805 Get Fit because as professionals in the training and fitness facility management space we learned that many Americans were not comfortable in a gym. Covid has made this even more of a fact as the risk of getting infected at your gym are significant and real. We love what we do, we love helping people and we would love to work with you too.

I love how easy they make it to find a trainer and set you up very quickly. I was able to get started quicker than I had expected and the quality and professionalism of the trainers was top-notch. They are experienced and help you get the most out of a workout, whether in-person or virtually.

I absolutely love working out with Michelle. Left to my own devices I would never strength train. Michelle makes strength training fun, efficient, and productive. She is personable and knowledgeable. I have been training with her for 6 weeks, daily, and we have not repeated a single workout- so I am never bored and I am seeing great results. Michelle will encourage you to challenge yourself in a gentle and motivating manner and you will love every minute!! I highly recommend her as a trainer.
