I designed my gym to include the modern tools necessary to create and execute programs of natural movement - this is what we call "functional training." There are no multi-station gym products, rowing machines, treadmills or ellipticals. You don't need to pay a trainer to watch you walk or row in place, or ride a fake bike.
In the gym, we will work with exercise balls, Bosu balls, medicine balls, resistance tubing, dumbbells, and suspension tools. I don't target muscles, I target movements. There are no machines that helps you kick a soccer ball, grab something heavy out of the car, or reach for something off a high shelf.

As a youth, I've played practically every sport under the sun. And as I moved into adulthood, I have played at the highest levels of soccer, competed in mountain bike racing and martial arts tournaments, and run in major marathons, including Boston. Additionally, I've coached youth basketball and baseball, and in soccer, I have the Advanced Coaching certification with AYSO, and a license with the United States Soccer Federation.
Back In The Game Health will design a program for you that opens your body up, strengthens muscles, and improves your ability to handle simple and complex movements. This is "functional training." Assuming you are not experiencing a chemical imbalance, the primary way to lose weight is to expend more carbs than you intake.
