Dancin' On The Moon is a full service Dancewear Store serving Central Jersey for over 30 years. Conveniently located on Route 18 South in East Brunswick, we are here to provide you with the latest in dance shoe styles and apparel. We are fully stocked with just about every dance shoe from the perfect Pointe to Jazz shoe.

We feature top-of-the-line brands - Capezio, Bloch, Body Wrappers and Motion Wear, to name a few. In addition we carry a full line of Gymnastic and Cheer Wear. We offer Specialty Services including Pointe shoe fittings (by appointment) and specialty orders, if we don't have an item on hand. We also carry Specialty Items including liturgical wear and accessories, gift items, hair accessories, jewelry, dance bags, leg wear and trending street wear.

To be properly dressed in not only Ballet, but in other dance disciplines, a dancer should have a well-fitting leotard. Dancin' on the Moon's large selection of leotards include various styles from: Capezio, Bloch, Body Wrappers, Motionwear, SoDanca and more! Working with many local dance schools, we have a selection of leotards that are required as a uniform for dance classes.

With a pair of shoes and a leotard, a dancer must have a good pair of tights (maybe 2 even, you should always have a spare pair!). For a more casual approach to dance in either Hip-Hop, Jazz or every day wear, a dancer may choose some fashionable t-shirts, shorts, or leotards.

Called ahead to see if they have ballroom dance shoes for me and my husband and they said “yes, we have them and they are on sale, actually.” WASTED a 40 minute drive to the store to come in and see a selection of three shoes and one single style for men in dusty boxes all the way at the back.

I called the store about a week ago to ask about the process of getting dresses for my team. The manager told me that they were not conducting fittings due to COVID and that everything needed to be ordered online. She provided the website and told me to call back with the style number/sizes that I needed and that an order would be placed. I call back today and I get told that orders do not happen at all! WHAT?! Now, I have a dance team who is due to perform and now does not have outfits! Not to mention, no solution was provided. No recommendation of where else to go or how else to get outfits

I had a really wonderful time today shopping at the store. The staff were very very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. I had my dog with me and they treated him so cute even though he escaped from the dressing room.
They even honored a coupon for me.
I’m very happy with my new gear and the excellent service. I can’t say enough.

Highly recommend this store. They have a good selection of goods and you get a personalized approach if you need help in finding what you need. Reasonable prices plus a 10% discount if you name the local school you're going to.

The store rep was very nice, patient, and helpful. I had a pleasant time there. Happy to have had her help me and educated me on what type of dance tights I was looking for and best company to go with. They do have parking right out front. Would visit again.

Came in real quick for a pair of ballet shoes when I was crunched for time. Had wut I needed I was in and out in less then 5min. I use to buy some dance shoes from them when I was a kid also, their always great. 5 stars.

Very helpful and kind employees. Small shop and sometimes does not have what you need - however worth the try.
Store hours are tough so weekends only work.

Excellent help for many years -- from little girls ballet slippers to carefully fitting pointe shoes now. Discounts for local dance schools. Very patient with fitting of shoes -- will spend as long as it takes (and take out every possible brand and size) to make sure the fit is correct. Lovely selection of leotards and nice sale rack in the back.

I am so impressed with the knowledge the store employees had in fitting pointe shoes. The service is personalized and they spend a good deal of time with each customer . I have been so pleased with all the fittings . I send all my ballet students there for their ballet slippers and pointe shoes.I usually have them call ahead for an appointment for a fitting.
