Services
Master Cobbler Joseph Montedoro has been repairing shoes since he was 8 years old. A second generation cobbler, Joe took over the family business and set up the White Cat Shoe Repair shop in Allenhurst, NJ. In the early 80's, Joe took a hiatus from shoe repair and turned over the reigns to his apprentice, Viro Marra, who moved the shop to Shrewsbury and renamed it Shrewsbury Cobbler Shop.
We are located on State Highway 35 South (Broad Street) in Shrewsbury. We share the parking lot with Monmouth Stereo. When coming from North (Red Bank/Lincroft/Middletown), we are on the southbound side of Hwy. 35 (cross the railroad tracks) just past the Dunkin Donuts. When coming from South (Eatontown, Little Silver/Shrewsbury), we are just past the light at White Rd.
Well, this winter certainly gave us some surprises! I'm not complaining though, it could have been much worse! Now that spring is here, it's time to start thinking about packing away those winter shoes and boots. Remember, if your shoes have any salt/winter residue on them, make sure to have them scrubbed before you store them.
