I went to Stride Rite for the first time today with our 16 month old and it was the best experience I've had as a customer in a very long time. The two ladies working made my daughter seem like she was the most important little girl that has ever walked in there. They were so helpful and so nice. I will never go anywhere else for her shoes. My only wish is I could go back more often than when she outgrows them in three or so months. God bless those ladies for being so nice.

Such a wonderful experience! Tammy, the owner, is absolutely amazing. Sweet, helpful, knowledgeable and kind. She works her tail off to provide a great experience for her shoppers and it shows(even by the reviews!). I can’t tell you how many shoes I’ve returned that didn’t fit my daughters wide feet. Tammy had a great selection and offered them all. The shoes I purchased were just a hair too small, and she graciously ordered in a larger size JUST for us! Thank you thank you! We will be shopping here for all her needs and will share our positive experience with all!

We shopped all over looking for wide shoes for my 8yo son. We literally went to 6 shops around the mall. I called Rudolph's Shoe Mart to ask about their kids sizes (spoiler, they don't carry kids shoes anymore) and they recommended Stride Rite to me.
We had to wait for a while (thanks Covid), but after it was our turn we had shoes (extra wide) that fit my son in less than 10 minutes. We could really tell that the person helping us (I think she was the owner) really knew what she was doing and she worked so well with all the kids in her store. Hands down the best service you will receive shopping for kids shoes. The owner is amazing in ensuring the shoes I buy will fit my kids feet. I worry about buying shoes online or other stores that don't do such a thorough fit on their tiny feet. I will always shop this local store to support small business and make sure my kids have comfortable and stylish shoes.

The staff are so knowledgeable about proper fit and kid feet - this is the only place I will go for good kid shoes. They have even discouraged my kids from going with their first choice if it wasn’t a good shoe for their feet. Even if there are people waiting, they take their time and never make you feel like they’re rushing the process.
