COVID-19 alert, the owner does not wear a mask properly when serving clients. He removes his mask or uncovered his nose constantly. He purports to know everything about everything but sold me shoes that damaged the arch on my right foot that required me to get wound treatment on my right arch at Southern Ocean medical center. He strongly resisted giving me credit on the shoe that damaged my foot. This is not a place where you want to do business.

I went to Malkin's Functional shoes had very good customer service. I bought a pair of sneakers ,they are very good quality and very comfortable. They take their time with you try different shoes that would be good for your feet . It did help with my back problem.
I am very Thankful for Lance and Howard Malkin. They are both very well trained in their business.
I definitely advise people who have foot problems , hip problems, back problem to go see them .

Lance and Howard are two of the nicest, most knowledgeable people I've ever met. I got some excellent customer service during my visit, and more importantly I walked out of the store with about 90 % less pain in my feet from when I walked in.
These guys are experts. They knew what my complaint was going to be before I opened my mouth. I'm very glad I listened to the person that sent me here, because while the shoes are expensive I don't know how I could afford to not go back. Again, I limped in hunched over and walked out feeling like a new man. That's a priceless feeling.

Lance at Malkin’s Functional Footwear has saved my life!! I have plantar fasciitis, knee issues, etc.. and he has taken the time to ensure the footwear is fitted correctly and that the inserts are providing the correct support. Yes, it can be a timely process, but I’d rather not be in pain! If there’s ever any problems or I have a question, he and Howard are always happy to help!

My Brother was in need of Diabetic Shoes and lucky for us this place exists. The very pleasant gentleman who assisted us is clearly an expert in his field. He didn't rush us and was not only patient but happily imparted his knowledge which will be very useful toward my brothers comfort. He handled the Medicare portion of the process and informed… us that one pair is fully covered every 12 months. There were fashionable comfortable shoes as well as orthopedic shoes available there, so support this local East Brunswick, Middlesex County NJ small and wonderful business.
