I was in a total jam when my car broke down and my regular mechanic wasn't answering so this place was suggested and it was right around the corner and they were super awesome and I got my car back THE SAME DAY!!
Everyone is so friendly here and the prices are decent! If you're looking for some place new this is the place to go!

As someone who has owned auto repair shops in the past, I know how hard it is to find a good, honest mechanic. This is one of those places.

He was able to fix my transmission issues with a $110 part, rather than the $4000 to $6000 estimate I was given to replace my transmission.

I knew I needed the head gaskets replaced and I needed the heads resurfaced and when he gave me back my car, not only was the job done well and on time, my car had been cleaned! Inside and out!!

Not only did he give me an estimate that he held firm to for all the work to be done, he was 30% lower than my other estimates

I bought a groupon for my break pads. I called ahead to try and make an appointment. I asked if I could come the same day and the lady told me come within the next hour. Made it within the next hour and the man in the shop told me he couldn't do it for five days. Sorry, I need break pads today! Returned my groupon and won't be going here ever again. They sent me off and then wouldn't do the work for days. A waste of gas and money

I stopped in the last minute because my tire was going flat.they gave me a choice to fix it with a plug or buy a new tire.I was surprised they had my tire size in stock and I ended buying 2 new tires for the back and they rotated all my tires and gave me a great deal!!! I will definitely recommend Ab's to all my friends and family.

I've been taking my car to transmission masters for almost 10 years. It's with certainty that I can say that Abraham and the other mechanics that work at this shop are reliable, trustworthy, and knowledgeable about their craft. They will show you what's wrong with your car and do their best to locate the part that is the most cost effective and of quality. Additionally, transmission masters is very flexible and reasonable with price. Not to mention how you coordinate the drop/off and pick up of your vehicle if you are a busy, working, professional. They definitely go above and beyond

I took my car there to get my transmission looked at. The car was not shifting from 1st gear to 2nd so I knew it was the transmission. I wanted to see if they could fix it or tell me it's not worth fixing since the car is a 2001. I took it in on a Saturday morning and was told by the owner to come back in about 4-5 hours, they were going to open the transmission pan and check the magnets and sensors to see if the problem was the trans itself or the sensors inside and it was going to cost $150. I was called to pick it up 5 hours later and the owner told me that

I took my vehicle to 2 different locations before going here. The owner is very honest, very professional, and very patient. Always have a great customer service attitude. He made sure that everything is good before we can pick up the vehicle drives great after transmission was replaced. Highly recommended to anyone with transmission issue.

Abraham is second to none. I had a car with over 180,000 miles on it and was experiencing hard shifting in gears 2-4. When I took the car in, instead of telling me I needed my entire transmission replaced or rebuilt (which I feared most) he told me it was a problem with the filter and fluid. I am not kidding when I say that he is the most understanding, reasonable, and knowledgeable individual I have ever dealt with when it comes to cars or car repairs. He quoted the labor and parts at exactly what he charged me and did not take out any parts or put anything in without my agreement beforehand.

Abe is great. Honest, affordable, and quality work. I'd recommend this place to anyone.

I went to Mid City Nissan for an oil change and a couple repairs on my car. While my car was in the shop, they in formed me that an engine belt on my car was in "poor" condition and that is needed to be replaced soon. After getting a quote for $140 to change it from Mid City Nissan, I went over to Transmission Masters and Abraham said he could do it for $80. Needless to say, I got much better service and a much better price with Transmission Master. 5 stars.

Lets face it, driving in Chicago kinda sucks. You get your car dinged and banged up and tires go flat from pot holes, nails, glass, etc. These guys were very helpful and fast and friendly. I have needed a quick patch on my tire quite a few times and these guys have always got it done so fast. You got a flat...go see these guys.

I just visited Transmission Masters for the first time because the shop is just around the corner from my new apartment, and the Yelp reviews were all good. I was very happy with my experience. I went in with unknown engine trouble, and the problem was diagnosed quickly. My car was back to normal later that day. I felt they were honest with me, and they quoted me a fair price before beginning the work. They even showed me the old parts they removed and where the new ones were on my engine without my asking. They will get all my car business, including oil changes, from now on.

I found Transmission Masters on Yelp and decided to go because of the good reviews. You guys didn't let me down -- the reviews were very true. Abraham is a really trustworthy guy. One time he couldn't find anything wrong with my car and suggested I go back to the dealership to have it checked out because it continued to stall out when I would come to a stop, or even sometimes when I was accelerating -- such a strange problem. He could have easily told me it needed some random repair and charged me an arm and a leg, and I wouldn't have known any better. Of course, the dealership did
