Never believe this company when they tell you that you have until x-time on x-day to complete your order, they start packing 1 to 2 hours prior to that time and block you from completing your order and seeing the items in their shop. Customer Service is super friendly and will add items at that point, but who needs that much time with CS and develop a personal of a relationship with CS? Not me! that's what the internet is for, to shorten time to getting stuff done, particularly grocery shopping. This happened twice and I only ordered twice. My first time ordering from Farmstead. Delightfully surprised by their selection and prices.
I ordered in the evening and it was delivered the next day so very timely.
All items were delivered and the quality is excellent. They packaged everything properly.

Worst experience ever. Super late. I ordered 2 piece lamb chop pricing at 21.99 but got two min pieces each as big as an egg. Tomatos don’t look fresh. Mushroom priced at 6 dollars is just a small box. Not even organic. The discount on the first order might be attractive but remember those are overpriced products.

First time using Farmstead. Love it!
No shipping fee. Super environmentally friendly packaging (used paper bags instead of plastic bags. Meat was wrapped in a compostable bag). The outsider box has handles, which make it easier to be carried around.
I also found some products that were not normally sold in the grocery stores I typically went (or i didn't pay enough attention to, like some goat yogurt and other sweats).
They were only 20 min late than the planned delivery window (which was not a big deal to me at all), but they offered a $2 credit to my account.
I'm gonna schedule

Still loving Farmstead! The quality is excellent but what really sets them apart is their communication. When something isn't available, or a delivery is delayed, they tell me what's going on and what I can expect.

Purchased my first order. Turn around was quick and the prices are fair. Size of quantities is perfect for the individual shopper. Delivery makes it a special occasion as it arrives quickly. I still have to put the products into use, but when I do I will update my review on the performance level. Thank you Farmstead

We had a few good months with farmstead but as they’ve grown the experience has completely fallen off a cliff.
This morning (for a delivery today) they told me that about 1/3 of the items I ordered were out of stock…with no substitutes. This basically means I need to do two rounds of grocery shopping and making the service absolutely moot.
They refuse to provide any credits either (even a very reasonable request to pay for another delivery service’s fees and tips).
Truly dreadful support and sad we will need to be discontinuing this.

We've been using Farmstead almost exclusively for groceries since the beginning of the pandemic, and I've loved it!! We are moving out of state soon, and I'm disappointed that we won't have a service like Farmstead anymore! :( I can get certain items that we eat all the time delivered every week without having to think about it or add those items every delivery (e.g. 1/2 gallon of milk, bread, strawberries, etc.). And I've gotten in the habit of just adding things during the week as I notice we need something. It's like having your shopping list just fulfill itself! The selection can be kinda limited

This is the best grocery delivery service that I have ever used. The prices are the same (or lower) than in the store. The variety of items is excellent. Delivery times are super reliable and super easy to manage or change.
If there is any problem at all with any product the customer service department instantly fixes it. Response time is excellent... almost immediate.
Frozen food comes frozen solid and packed in dry ice.

Very bad business. They have no option to cancel the weekly delivery. And every week, the system automatically add some groceries to your shopping cart and will CHARGE you.They are forcing people to use their service. NO WAY TO CANCEL!!! Customer services does not exist!!!
And you even cannot remove your credit card on file after you add it!!!!

Great produce and range of items. However app is lacking and does not easily allow one-time delivery. For us (family of 4) the weekly is too frequent; and it's too easy for the delivery to slip through (no confirmation required etc). No clear way on the app to cancel weekly or remove those items from the cart... Text responsiveness is immediate to trouble shoot however.

My experience has been very positve. I have used other grocery delivery services and have found Farmstead's products to have good variety and fresh produce lasts. I don't fill my cart until I am ready again and have not experienced any issus with delivery. The deliveries have been on time and the text communication very accurate. I will continue to place my grocery orders with Farmstead!

I received my first delivery from Farmstead App in the beginning of this week and I just placed my second one (now it's the end of the week). I was very happy with the quality of the products and especially the super fast delivery time (placed order on Monday night, received bags to my doorstep on Tuesday morning)!
