A+car loan does not work with you at all. My daughter had a car loan with them and she fell on hard times with in the 6 months of the loan. Her trying to be an adult tried to deal with it on her own. However, things transpired to a repossession. The repossession so happens to happen when we was visiting my mother, her grandmother, who is blind, has dementia and is partially paralyzed in which I pay for her ticket to go there with me to visit her grandmother out of state. In summary of this, I spoke with Stephanie several times, she is the only person who does or handles repossession for a plus

I get numerous pieces of junk mail from them, offers to buy all sorts of insurance, credit cards etc; but unfortunately they have on several occasions failed to send my bank statement. I'm giving them 2 stars because they are polite when you call and complain about not receiving your statement. I do not recommend this bank.

I'm a member of this bank for many years but their customer service is getting worst. I called and the waiting time is so long, before when I called they answer quick but now they are just wasting my time. I'm thinking to find another bank, this is too much!!!!!!

I’ve been with A+ for seven years Since I moved to Austin I have sent several people to them and now it’s so frustrating going to the drive-through because no matter what day or time of day I go it’s gonna take me 20 to 45 minutes and I can’t stand it anymore
How about better training or efficiency?

This bank is an absolute joke and definitely living up to the nickname F U credit union. If I could give no stars, I would. I'd rather stash my money under a mattress than have to deal with this bank. The customer service is beyond horrible and hasn't gotten any better in 5+ years. My average wait time is 30-40 min and the tellers can't count, which is a little concerning considering their job. Counting down the day until the company takes their money elsewhere.

Once I bragged about A+FCU suggested my co workers and friends join. Not anymore.
Yesterday, I had my 4th debit card - within the last 6 months - compromised. I almost always use it as a credit card because it pays more than using as a debit, AND it's supposed to be safer they told me.
The last time, the young lady taking my report told me this had been happening to more members I'm wondering if it's an internal employee using my information, maybe selling it.???
The 1st time, mmmh, ok. The 2nd time, ok. The 3rd time, what's going on? The 4th time is the time to leave. There are other credit

What started out as a 5 star when account is new, is slowly losing its quality. Unfortunately, there is no across the board decisions in any branch. Depending on who is your teller, it may be a smooth transaction or a ruin your day transaction. There have been many times where it seems the tellers pick and choose who their favorites are. If you bank at this institution, be sure and get known with one teller, or one location. You will not be treated the same at "C" branch, if your normal location is "A" bank. Its sad the comments being written but it is true. There have been times tellers are wanting

Wow what an incredible group of people that work at the North West Hills branch! During these trying times, the staff members at this branch have been more than helpful and with wonderful upbeat attitudes! I love visiting this branch and can't wait for things to get safer so the lobby can open again. Thanks guys for helping me with my IRA situation! Special shout out to Shannon Gleason who is super quick to respond to my questions!

Too many fees. Convenience fees is the most disgusting business practice a financial institution can have. Terrible place. Would go borrow money from a loan shark before doing business with them again

If you want to deal with the most convoluted online banking system on planet earth A+ has you covered. Hours of hold time to get ahold of people, inaccurate information on loans sent or NOT sent to the credit agencies the list goes on and on and on. Every time I have to call them it's 5000 verification questions to verify my identity. Silly stuff like "The vehicle you traded in at your last vehicle purchase, who was the finance company and interest rate ? Silly financial institution. Glad to be rid of them.

When I opened an account with A+ in 2013, everything used to go so smooth. A+ used to be a part of the credit union program where you could use other credit union’s atms and branches with no fees. A few years later, A+ left the program. You can still withdraw from certain credit union atms without a fee but other credit unions will not accept deposits. Making it difficult to add cash and check funds to your account if you do not live or commute nearby an A+ branch. A+ does have a mobile app where you can snap a picture of your check and deposit it. However, sometimes the system puts a hold on

1.) I pay a few bills monthly via Google Pay and, like clockwork, the fraud protection service locks my account. Sometimes it shoots me an automated phone call, other times not. This has been going on for over a year, despite assurances that it would "learn" my spending habits. In multiple calls to customer service, I have been told that it cannot be turned off.

2.) The last time I visited the lobby, it took more than 15 minutes to withdraw cash because their cash dispenser (?) was acting up. If this is a thing, have a backup plan, for heaven's sake. Another time, they issued new

I just had one of the best interactions ever with a corporation. Michael from the lending department spend a good 30 minutes with me getting to know me as a person. We had a real conversation about real things we care about -- all relevant to the purpose of the business I was doing, but personable. Human. When I hung up the phone, I felt I had someone truly on my side that gets what I am about and why I am doing business with them to begin with. As the director of a nonprofit with a nimble budget, it is heartening to know that they see what this is about for me. And care.

Worst banking experience of my life. No one knows what they’re talking about or the proper protocols. You get a different answer every time you call or go into a branch. I have been trying to wrap up my fathers estate with them for over 3 months. Of all things you would think they would know how to handle an account when someone dies. There were also technical issues making transfers between different financial institutions causing several weeks delay in payments. Awful! Not one good thing to say. On top of everything I had to wait a long time on each visit just adding to the frustration. I have

This bank sucks. I applied for an auto loan and it took them 1.5 weeks to get back to me. I have 790-800 credit score, so they just don't care. Their rates are nothing special either. Glad I didn't get a loan with them but I'm unhappy they pulled my credit if they didn't care. Seriously, how does a bank stay in business that can't get back with a customer?

The most incompetent banking institution around. I've been here for over 15 years, however the past year has been terrible! No one knows what they're talking about and you will have to go to the actual bank 6 different times and call 4 different people before anything actually happens. From mortgage, to closing a 6 month certificate, to taking over 6 months to get a halfway usable debit card, a nightmare for everything. Do not bother, go somewhere else!

Avoid banking or loans with A+ FCU, unless you like paying fees for everything. By everything, I mean everything. Make a payment, pay a fee. Look at them wrong, pay a fee. Try to do basic banking, pay a fee.

They are just trying to get a quick buck off their members. The low interest you may be offered will quickly get swamp and overshadowed with fees.

Went to purchase some flooring, in the range of $800. I was declined, despite my having considerably more than that in my account. We'd only made two other purchases the same day, more than an hour earlier, both totaling less than $100, both from a grocery store. These are not odd purchases, I wasn't buying thousands of dollars worth of electronic equipment, or from 5-6 different stores all within a 30 minute period of time. It was Home Freaking Depot and HEB. No one called to confirm and then cleared it, and as it was outside of business hours, there's no one to call. Every

This is the worst bank/credit union I have ever done business with. They literally ask you 20 "security" questions when you call in. I refinanced a car loan with this company 3 years ago because of a low interest rate. I have spoken with them 4 times during that period, usually asking for the current payoff. Here are a few of the questions they ask each time, what was the name of the original company you obtained the loan through, what is the original amount financed, how many payments have been made, what is your interest rate, what insurance company did you originally use before the
