Services
Theo Sherman joined the Great Eastern Management Company family in 2018. He serves as Property Manager at Park Apartments. He graduated from James Madison University with a B.S. in Kinesiology, and a concentration in Recreation/Hospitality Management. While attending James Madison University, Theo played on the football team as an offensive lineman.
Park Apartments is located in Harrisonburg, Virginia, just off of South Main Street, a mile away from James Madison University, and three miles from Sentara Rockingham Memorial Hospital (Sentara RMH). I definitely enjoyed my time at Park Apartments (2 years)! Very nice, responsive staff, clean updated apartments, and good amenities (pool, gym, etc.). If I ever needed something done in the apartment, the staff was always responsive and timely. It was nice to be close to the large park (as the name implies), though there was not much else to walk to (my only complaint, besides it being a tad student-heavy).

I have lived in the Park Apartments since 2019 and am only leaving because I am moving out of the region. I have enjoyed my time here, my apartment is spacious, leasing and maintenance staff professional and courteous, and the complex is located within an easy commute to work. The access to the paved cycling/jogging trail in Purcell Park is very convenient as well.

I first rented at Park Apartments March 2020. In June I switched to a first floor apartment because of my disability. My lease was supposed to be up the end of May 2021. I called Theo Sharman in late April to inquire about another matter. He said nonchalantly “ O by the way you have to be out by 31 May because I rented your apartment. I do have other apartments available if you want to move into one” When I asked about the particulars he stated that he sent an email in February and that since I didn’t reply to the email he rented the apartment. I never received a phone call or on the door

My husband was working on a temporary assignment around the Harrisonburg area, so we rented a corporate apartment. Theo worked with us from the beginning to help us get setup through our four months to the end of our lease. He was absolutely wonderful to work with through the process. While my husband was there during the week, the kids, dog, and I enjoyed visiting on weekends. We loved being able to bring our dog and often used the dog play area. The apartment was a nice size for the four of us (+ the pup) on the weekends, and it is accessible to some fun attractions. I would recommend Park apartments

Just moved into a Corporate Unit for a couple month stay. Nina, Housing Representative, has been extremely helpful throughout the process. I had a small problem just after move in and Nina came right over to help. She cared enough to make sure everything was right and I appreciate it. Great customer service is becoming a forgotten thing and to have Nina go above and beyond was wonderful to see.

My husband and I love living here. Even amidst the pandemic, Park Apartments staff is incredibly responsive and kind, ensuring that residents are well taken care of. I've had nothing but phenomenal experiences with the staff and maintenance here. The apartments are spacious and have different living options depending on the size of your family. Rent is reasonable for the area and for what it includes! The location is about 4 minutes away from all the hot spots in downtown Harrisonburg and walkable to Purcell Park. We love living at Park Apartments!

My husband and I lived at Park in a 3 bedroom/2 bath apartment for an extended period of time. The complex is conveniently located near JMU and downtown Harrisonburg. It's also in walking distance to Purcell Park and the Bluestone Trail. We could see Purcell Park from our dining room window. Our cat especially enjoyed watching squirrels and birds in the trees out of that window. Our neighbors were friendly and the leasing office did a great job of engaging residents through pool parties, social media contests, and other events. I had rented one of the corporate units they offer and was waiting for it to become available when my work plans abruptly changed at the last minute.
