Hello, my gf and sister both live there and I lived there for a year a few years ago. I have to say this is probably the safest and female friendly apartments. Everyone is looking after each other, and security is amazing. As far as I saw and what my gf and sister saw, cops were never called to sunchase once in 3 years. The internet is also extremely fast for it being included in rent. They do have problems with wifi signal and connection drops every so often but I am talking about a total of 10 times in 12 months. The move in process was so simple and smooth. Be sure to complete all online move in surveys & google forms prior to arriving to move in to make the process go even smoother! The clubhouse staff is nothing short of delightful and the Sunchase facilities are amazing! Everything is clean, aesthetically pleasing, and very nice!

I lived at Sunchase for 2 years and had a great experience. The maintenance was always quick to arrive and the staff was always friendly and helpful. I had a few mix ups happen during move out, but Hannah (the property manager) worked with me and figured everything out very quickly. I would highly recommend Sunchase to anyone!

Sunchase has been the best experience of my life! The individuals who live here are so friendly and outgoing! The leasing staff is amazing, they're always here to help, even on the weekends! The maintenance team is also amazing! They respond to maintenance requests promptly and are always willing to help! They even carry around treats for the sunchase dogs!
The rooms are a good size and the apartments even come furnished with stylish, modern furniture and the mattresses they provide are very comfortable!
They are always having events and give aways for the residents and I think that it is so

My son rented from them for 3 years. The first apartment was in poor condition and the appliances often broke. The second & third year the apartment had been refurbished so we didn't have those issues, but they hit us with renters insurance charges for the entire year this year that were never disclosed in the monthly charges my son received in his online portal. We told them at the start of the year we had our own renters insurance just as we had every year prior. And my son supplied them a hard copy of proof of insurance when he picked his key this last year. They applied insurance

I’m a sophomore in college and it is my first semester living at Sunchase. It was the best decision I made. It was a last minute choice to live with my roommates, but it’s the perfect space for all 4 of us. The apartment is big enough to hold all of us and has all the needs a college student really needs. If we have a problem, maintenance is always quick and ready to fix them. 100% recommend.

My son was at Foxwoods for the past two years and for his Senior year he and his friends went to SunChase.
BIG mistake!
There is a terrible lack of communication. The whole process at Foxwoods was seamless.
Here, the utility bill is put in the students mailbox within the community but as the parent, whose name is listed as a co-signer AND who pays the bills,...I don't get a copy.
After not receiving any bill that this was needed to be paid, they had the nerve to charge us a $40 late fee and tacked on a $25 attorney fee for the 'Notice of Non Compliance'....really??

I've had a wonderful experience at SunChase so far. I have lived here for one year and renewed my lease for the 2018-19 school year at JMU.
The pool is wonderful and refreshing and the fitness center is convenient when UREC is closed or you don't feel like making the trip.
When in need of a study space the main lobby provides a center for doing so quietly and comfortably. The lobby also has a pool table for guest use.
Rooms are furnished nicely and the rent is affordable for what you get. Each roommate has their own private bathroom. Maintenance is quick and efficient when responding

Sunchase is a great for the price they ask. There is new furniture with a sectional and nice tables and chairs. The kitchen is outdated, but works!
When we sent in a maintenance request, they were there almost immediately. We got new carpets and doors because the previous tenant revoked the apartment. But if I didn't know that before I moved in, I wouldn't even notice any of the fixes.
The clubhouse is beautiful and includes a beautiful pool, a relatively nice gym, 2 tanning booths, a grill, pool tables, computers, and a coffee bar.
The newer apartments are very nice with granite

when I moved out, i discovered that someone who was working for sunchase had taken residency in my room that i left locked throughout the summer, and I was sent a bill for mattress as well as carpet damages caused by roomate's pets. I lived in Sunchase for the past three years. The first year it was very nice, and although there were parties it was never "too" loud and I was sleeping fine even if I decided to stay in on a weekend. I went out frequently those years and even my last year I still went out sometimes, but this last year the noise got out of control, even for someone who goes to parties. TONS of young boys moved into the complex, and my building especially, 1921, had at least 4 or 5 different parties in it Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights every single weekend.
