From shabby chic to simple elegance and everything in between, every bride should have the wedding cake of their dreams. Each cake is custom made with your choice of cake, filling and decorations. Cakes are priced upon servings and complexity of design. Buttercream cakes start at $6/serving. Interested in a tasting?
Cupcakes are the perfect way to ensure everyone at your wedding, party, or event has their own little deliciously portioned bite of cake and frosting. Not to mention, it's an easy way to try out more than one flavor! Cupcakes begin at $36/dozen. Looking for something a little more fancy? Custom toppers can be designed with your event in mind!
Everyone deserves a little something sweet and that includes you! Keep in mind that all sweets are custom and made to order (and it's just me!), so please try to give at least 7 days notice for any custom order. But don't wait! While I can sometimes squeeze in same week or last minute orders, I often book up 2-3 weeks in advance especially during busier times.

Presentation is everything! The look and design of both the cake and cupcakes are very creative but the taste is not the best. The cake has a strawberry taste to it and the cupcakes have chocolate icing which me and my daughter like the best. Wife ordered, emails were exchanged, I followed instructions provided by email to pickup cake, arrived, parked text name and vehicle color and make model, and E brought out the cakes to my vehicle and placed it in the front seat and the floor near the front seat. Looking forward to tasting these cakes!

My now wife and I found Sweets By E from extensive research of bakeries in our area during our year of COVID wedding planning. Evan was extremely pleasant to work with from start to finish. She gave hefty pieces for the cake taste testing, designed our 4-tiered wedding cake, and picked out beautiful flowers to put on the cake. I appreciated the fact that she contacted us a week or two before the wedding to ask if our guest count has changed. We were looking for a custom cake with an astronomical theme for my wife’s 40th birthday. We researched many places including several we had bought from before.
We did not have much success until I had a great conversation with Evan and listened to her wonderful ideas for the cake. It looked incredible and tasted even better.

*give me 15 minutes of squealing* guys....this cake.....is so cute and amazing and....freaking delicious! Evan is seriously great! She's easy to work with, makes delicious cakes, and delivers the cake you want. I ordered this cake one month ago, and she really took the time to even find inspirational photos with me. I would highly recommend Sweets by E for your wedding cake. Evan's cake was as gorgeous as it was delicious!! Evan held the tasting in her industrial kitchen, which was so fun. The tasting was so yummy, and after much debate we decided to go with Cookies and Cream and Vanilla cake with fresh strawberries - all of our guests raved about them both!

Evan is the BEST at her craft! I reached out to her literally at the last minute and she made the impossible happen. Not only did the cake look amazing, it was super moist and delicious with every bite. Let's just say my family and I are now lifetime customers of Sweets by E!

We have had cakes, cupcakes and treats from Sweets by E for our major celebrations over the past 10 years; everything she makes is beautiful (looks great on a table) and even more delicious, and she is prompt and professional. We wouldn't consider it a party unless something from Evan is on the menu for dessert! Enjoy!

We hired Sweets by E for our wedding and Evan did a tremendous job of creating our wedding cake. We didn't have a specific design in mind, but had some basic ideas that we were able to send over to Evan along with our color scheme. By the time we saw the cake the day of the wedding, it was exactly what we dreamed it would be - the bride is still amazed with how it was exactly what she dreamed it would be. Regarding flavors, Evan had some of the most unique (and best) cake flavors we tried of all the vendors we contacted. The only caveat with using Sweets By E is that it took us a while to

Great cakes and great customer service. E was responsive and was willing to work with me to chat through the best options for my daughter's 1st birthday. She even threw in a smash cake! I've ordered my kids' cakes from her since she was in Herndon and now even if she's a bit further, it's well worth the drive to have the right cake for my special occasions!

Evan has been doing my sons birthday cakes for 3 years now; she's super kind, easy to communicate with, and makes your ideas for a cake come to life within your budget. I refer others to her if they're looking for a custom cake. The drive is a little far out from where I am, but it's worth it to me. Cakes are delicious also!! Highly recommend her!

I contacted Evan about 1 week away from the event. I send my "inspiration" pictures and flavors. She was very flexible and open. I was not picky about the cake at all. As long as it had the colors and elements I was looking for. She did put on real live flowers which was a PLUS. THE CAKE WAS BEAUTIFUL. It was a little dry. But everyone loved it. Flavor was vanilla.

Wedding Cake update - October 2017 - Evan did a fantastic job on the wedding cake for my daughter's wedding at the Army Navy Club. Both flavors were fantastic - moist, just the right amount of sweetness, memorable. The Funfetti with buttercream was playfully colorful, the Chocolate w/Raspberry was perfect. There was no drama, timing issues or plating concerns. The prices were great - this baker is a treasure! Evan was also able to recommend a baker to do the cake balls for the reception & 'day of' luncheon - Amy with Itty Bitty Cake Co.
